So Divine Ooh La La Flower Vibrator Review

By Pleasure Panel reviewer Jezebella

The So Divine Ooh La La Flower Vibrator really appealed to me when I saw it on Cara Sutra’s Pleasure Panel list. It is shaped like no other vibrator I have tried. Rather than going for a G-spot hook or a classic straight design the Ooh La La Flower Vibrator has a bulbous head with ridges on it designed to look like a flower bud. I was interested in how this would feel and I’m so glad Cara gave me the opportunity to find out.

Packaging

The So Divine Ooh La La Flower Vibrator packaging is simple and stylish. It is in a pretty box with the Ooh La La Flower Vibrator pictured in the middle and simple operating instructions on the back and sides. Inside the box is a simple plastic sleeve holding the information booklet, vibrator and the charging cable and plug. There is no storage / travel pouch and the box is a little flimsy so may not last very long for long term storage. The toy is a bright hot pink colour with a white end. This is not to my taste, but it is by no means ugly. If you are in to pink toys you are likely to love it.

Features

This So Divine Ooh La La Flower Vibrator has everything I look for in a high-end sex toy. 100% waterproof for confident cleaning and shower time fun. It is fully rechargeable, using a magnet charger which easily stays in place during charging, which ends in a USB port for universal charging (So Divine also included a USB British wall plug which I really appreciate as I find it easier to use a wall plug than my laptop to charge toys).

Also, it is made of a high-quality seamless silicone that feels really nice to the touch. I had high expectations for this toys, and it didn’t disappoint.

Operation

To operate the So Divine Ooh La La Flower Vibrator you simply need to push one button at the base of the toy. It could not be simpler. The button is textured so you can feel where it is easily when in use. Hold the button down for a few seconds to turn the toy on or off, and click it to scroll through the different settings. There are three constant speeds, starting at the most gentle and getting more intense, then it moves on to the 7 patterns.

A really fun feature of the So Divine Ooh La La Flower Vibrator is that there is a little LED light above the control button that reflects the setting the toy is on. It stays on for the constant speeds, but gets brighter for each intensity. For the patterns, it pulsates on and off for the pulsing patterns, getting brighter or darker depending on the intensity of the pulse, and for the oscillating setting it gradually grows dimmer / brighter in time with the oscillation. Although this doesn’t add anything to the functionality of the toy (and you can’t see it yourself when you’re using it), it could be useful if a partner is using it on you to let them know what the setting is doing.

Pattern Selection

Although I love simple controls, one minor issue with only having one push button is it can be difficult to find the pattern you want if you need to change things up mid-use. If you want to go back down to speed 1, for example, you might have to scroll through 9 other settings to get there. However, 10 isn’t too many functions to scroll through; I have had vibrators with many more settings on a single button. I think So Divine just about gets away with it here.

Vibration Power & Shape

In use I really enjoyed the So Divine Ooh La La Flower Vibrator. The vibrations are on the buzzy side of the spectrum, especially on the high intensity settings, but they are not too harsh that they feel bad. They are fairly quiet, particularly on the low settings, but are still audible though a duvet. However you can’t hear them through a closed door so you can be discreet with this toy. They are fairly strong and definitely do a good job of getting me off.

In summary the vibrations are decent, but not spectacular. Where this toy really excels is in its shape. Those ridges at the toy don’t look like much but they feel amazing when I thrust the vibrator. I don’t have to put in much effort either, as long as I am moving the toy those ridges on the bulbous head create wonderful sensations on my vaginal walls that lead me to internal orgasm in no time. As the ridges are different on each side you can even change up the sensation just by twisting the toy.

During Use

I’ve had several orgasms using just this toy without a second clitoral vibrator, which for me is pretty difficult to do. However, when I am using a clitoral vibrator / stimulator, the So Divine Ooh La La Flower Vibrator is a great internal toy to accompany it. It is light and slimmer in the middle than at either ends. This means that if I insert it into my vagina up to the middle I can leave it happily vibrating away there and it won’t slide out. Hands-free! Then I can concentrate all of my attention on my clitoral toy. This is a great feature for me. I did also try and use the Ooh La La Flower Vibrator as a clitoral vibe, but for me it doesn’t work well for this purpose. The head is too big for any precision and the vibrations too buzzy for any clitoral joy.

Clean up is really easy, because this toy is waterproof I can clean it thoroughly using warm water and anti-bacterial soap. The charge also lasts a long time (I’ve used it 5 times now without needing to re-charge).

In Conclusion

Overall, I really like the So Divine Ooh La La Flower Vibrator. It is a high quality product with simple controls and easy charging. The motor may not be the best, but the shape of the head makes up for any lack of power / rumble. The bottom line is, it can bring me to orgasm with minimal effort and without the need for clitoral stimulation. For that reason it is winning at what it was designed to do.

I’d like to thank Cara Sutra for sending me the So Divine Ooh La La Flower Vibrator free of charge in exchange for an honest review. This is no way affected my opinion of the product.

8/10
