Sistalk Master Godzilla Vibrator Review

The Sistalk Master Godzilla Vibrator is a mini vibrator which promises G-spot stimulation and has kegel exercise options via mobile app. However, I’ve found it extremely effective as a clitoral vibrator. Well, I do love my clit vibes!

Introduction

Let’s start at the beginning: I was approached by Sistalk Vibrators to review one of their products. After having a nosey, I was intrigued. Usually, I have an idea of whether a sex toy will work for me or not (and yes, I’ve been proved wrong one way or another on several occasions) but the Sistalk vibrators threw me. Perhaps it was the array of pastel colours, so different from the sex toy industry standards of pink and purple. Or maybe it was the omg-so-very-cute designs…

The Sistalk Vibrators are not only made with body-safe silicone, they’re named after and somewhat resemble cute critters. Creatures, beasts, however you wish to describe them. The Sistalk Vibrators range includes Mister Devil, Master Godzilla and Doctor Whale.

My Selection

My choice was the Sistalk Master Godzilla Vibrator. Not only did ‘Godzilla’ conjure up monstrously rumbly vibe thoughts, the toy is an extremely unusual colour for a sex toy: pastel green. And at this point, I’m a sucker for anything which deviates from the ‘norm’ when it comes to sex toys. Not just sex toys, come to that, but that’s another story.

I received the Sistalk Master Godzilla Vibrator a little before Christmas 2017 and I enjoyed it throughout the festive season. It arrived well packaged, and inside the outer box I found the attractive packaging of the Sistalk Master Godzilla Vibrator, plus a novelty extra… Cuddly toy

Pushing thoughts of a sex toy themed Generation Game to one side, I gave the cuddly Godzilla plushy a squish then focused on the main event.

Inside The Box

The Sistalk Master Godzilla Vibrator box gives you all sorts of information about the sex toy and the manufacturer. I’ll admit it’s an assumption but I do not believe English was the first language of the packaging copywriter. I’m also unsure what colour “pinkish-green” is; the toy looks pastel green to me.

The Sistalk Master Godzilla Vibrator is made with silicone and it’s rechargeable. This was a good sign; I’m not keen on battery powered vibrators usually (especially piddly watch-battery types). The box also announces that there’s a FREE APP so you can “be always connected” – this wasn’t such great news for me, as I’m not always as impressed by app-controlled sex toys as I feel I should be.

My new toy was nestled in a slide-out box within the outer glossy card sleeve. The box also contains an instruction leaflet with several languages on it, a USB charging lead and a grey velour storage pouch.

Charging Up

At this point it still wasn’t immediately obvious how to operate the bumpy-backed Sistalk Master Godzilla Vibrator; I was hoping one or more of Godzilla’s bumps would be a button. I decided to charge it up and figure out the rest later.

There is a titchy hole on the underside of the Sistalk Master Godzilla Vibrator – below the tail area. This is where you pierce the toy with the jackpin of the charging lead, while the other end of the lead plugs into any USB socket. PC, laptop, USB to wall adaptor plug –whatever is easiest for you.

While Godzilla is charging, there’s a white LED which slowly blinks – this lets you know you’ve connected it properly.

Operation

Once charged, and after a much closer inspection of the Sistalk Master Godzilla Vibrator, I finally found the operation button. It’s not raised at all; there’s simply the standard ‘power’ symbol on the upper side of the tail. Press and hold for 3 seconds and Godzilla buzzes into action.

You’ll need to have the Sistalk Master Godzilla Vibrator switched on in order to pair with the app (we’ll come to that).

Settings

Keep pressing the main operation button and you find the 8 vibrating settings on the toy itself; I describe these as:

  1. Low constant vibration
  2. Medium constant vibration
  3. High constant vibration
  4. Dash-dash-dash pulse
  5. Varied teasing oscillation
  6. Slow dot-dot-dot-dash pulse
  7. Fast dot-dot-dot-dash pulse
  8. Dot-dot-dot continual pulse

I was so relieved to find that I could control the Sistalk Master Godzilla Vibrator from the toy itself, despite the elusiveness of the power/operation button. I don’t like to rely on an app to control my sex toys.

Even if the app turned out to be entirely rubbish, I could still enjoy the Godzilla vibrator by itself. Phew.

Measurements

Oh, in case you want to know how big the vibrator is, by my measurements it’s 3.75 inches long, with a max circumference (round the head) of 4.5 inches.

Monster Pub App

After an initial assessment of the Sistalk Master Godzilla Vibrator, and feeling pretty perky about the pleasure potential here – the top vibe might actually be strong enough – I downloaded the app. Unfortunately, the QR code on the instruction leaflet didn’t work, but I was able to look it up in the Google Play store in any case. It’s called the Monster Pub App. It’s also available via the Apple App Store.

I found the app pretty difficult to work with, but then as I touched on earlier, I’m not really a sex-toys-with-app kinda woman. I’ve forced myself to work with them and almost like them in the past, but give me a toy with buttons on it and I’m happier to be honest. Too much brain strain figuring an app when I’m supposed to be all of the chilled out.

You need to switch on your Bluetooth, then connect the vibrator by pressing it to turn on and go through the app instructions from there.

The app didn’t feel intuitive at all, which I feel wasn’t helped by the broken English throughout.

There’s a mode where you can access the Godzilla Vibrator vibrating settings on a screen on the phone rather than by the toy’s button – but this is too fiddly for me. I prefer to just find the mode I want via the button on the toy then play. You can also take part in a kegel exercise program via the app too – with a rather odd text-to-speech translation/function for the vocal instruction. I could barely understand it – probably partially due to my hearing loss. Kegels are pronounced ‘kedge-els’, and exhale as ‘ex-HAL’, for instance. I found it quite off-putting.

There’s an area where you can ‘draw’ your own vibration pattern, but the toy only vibrated as long as my finger was on the screen – so this was more fun with my partner. He could draw a vibration that I then enjoyed, whether using the Godzilla vibrator internally or (more frequently) externally.

During Use

The cooing over the sketchy novelty feature and the rest of the app didn’t last long – when playing with my partner we always soon wanted to move on to other, more intimate activities. The only other benefit of this feature would be if the vibrator-user was apart from the app-controlling person, but that’s not the way my relationship is set up. And it’s not like we can use that feature out and about for naughty fun in public – it would be obvious that he’s doing something on his phone screen and although the vibrations are pretty quiet, I wouldn’t feel comfortable using it that way.

I use the Sistalk Master Godzilla Vibrator mainly for solo masturbation although it has had its part to play during sex with my partner too (without the app). The vibrations are pretty focused in the tip of the ‘head’, so I concentrate this end on my clitoris and can orgasm with it on the top constant vibration in a short amount of time.  Oh, I’m also not that much into patterns and pulses, but there’s a range as mentioned above if that’s your vibe.

Although there is a flicky tail (which is also where the operation button is located), the vibrations aren’t as strong here. There’s no motor in the tail end, so although I can use the Godzilla with the head inside me and the tail externally, it doesn’t make me orgasm in that way. The vibrations just aren’t strong enough when a) they’re then muted by my body holding on to the main motorised area and b) they have to travel through the silicone.

For Me, It’s A Clit Vibe – Not A G-Spot Vibrator

I’ve reviewed the Sistalk Master Godzilla Vibrator as an external, clitoral stim vibrator because this is how I prefer to use it. To me, it didn’t naturally feel like a G-spot vibrator or a kegel exerciser. It’s short enough in the shaft to be a G-spot vibe but the dramatic angle isn’t there, and the lack of a proper handle means it’s difficult to rub directly against the G-spot. As for a kegel exerciser – it’s rather wide around the head. Not too wide so as to be uncomfortable to insert (for me), but wider than other kegel exercisers I’ve used in the past.

The tail also needs to remain outside the body as this is where the operation button is. I have other kegel exercisers which have an external area, but they aren’t quite as dramatically curved towards the body (can be uncomfortable if using when moving around/standing then sitting) and don’t have buttons on this external part.

So as a g-spot vibrator or a kegel exerciser, for me… it’s a no-go for quite a few reasons. But as a mini vibrator/clitoral vibrator? Definitely yes.

Conclusion

Sadly, the Sistalk Master Godzilla Vibrator didn’t live up to my monstrously rumbly vibe hopes. That said, it is a nice vibrator, which offers climactic vibrations for me; a toy I’d definitely choose to use again. Especially when I particularly need a discreet (in terms of size and noise) vibrator which really does hit the spot. The app isn’t for me, but if you’re not such a Luddite and don’t mind the various translation problems, it might be OK for you.
