Packaging & What’s In The Box
My Satisfyer Vibes Magic Bunny Rechargeable G-Spot Vibrator arrived in suitably nondescript postal packaging, while the vibrator’s box clearly depicted the item with some extra details about its use and various features.
Inside the box I found the Satisfyer Vibes Magic Bunny Rechargeable G-Spot Vibrator, the USB/magnetic charging lead and an information/instruction leaflet.
I was a little surprised not to find a storage pouch with the vibrator -but I really didn’t mind the absence. Firstly, I don’t tend to store my toys in storage bags anyway, and secondly this is a mid-priced vibrator at just over £40 rather than full bells & whistles offering at £80-£120+.
First Impressions & Measurements
Cards on the table time: this Satisfyer Bunny wouldn’t have been my first choice for product to review, but was one of the items offered to me. It takes a special rabbit vibrator to win out against my long-held view that a clit stim toy plus an optional vaginal/g-spot/anal toy beats the dual stimulator –that’s not to say it can’t be done. In recent years I’ve discovered some rabbit vibrators I absolutely adore.
The Satisfyer Vibes Magic Bunny Rechargeable G-Spot Vibrator measures 7 inches in overall length, with a maximum insertable length of 3.5 inches and a maximum shaft circumference of 4 inches.
As well as being a bit wary about the possibility of a disappointing rabbit experience, I thought the Satisfyer Vibes Magic Bunny Rechargeable G-Spot Vibrator looked a bit short and stubby. Yeah, it’s a G-spot stimulator –I still thought it looked both stubby and not angled enough at the tip to be an effective G-spotter. Still, it felt nice and chunky in my hand. Not heavy, but solid –the kind of sex toy I could trust to put up with the various rigours of my self-love sessions.
The shape is pleasing to the eye and in the hand, and there are no tangible seams on the silicone insertable portion or the clit stim. The silicone material is smooth, with tactile contours I couldn’t wait to envelop with more intimate areas of my body.
I figured I’d see how it felt when playtime rolled around… unusually for me, I couldn’t predict the outcome for this sex toy purely on my first impressions. This gave the Satisfyer Bunny an additional feature: mystique.
Charging Up
Before I could satisfy my curiosity and other desires, I had to charge up the Satisfyer Vibes Magic Bunny Rechargeable G-Spot Vibrator. This is simple enough using the included magnetic/USB charging lead.
Insert the USB end into any USB port, and the magnetic nodes on the other end connect to the metal notes on the base of the toy. The connection –like any magnetic connection- isn’t totally steadfast, but it’s certainly strong enough when you’re charging the vibrator on a table or on the floor by the bedside.
A white LED slowly flashes behind the operation buttons while charging, then changes to emit a steady glow once charged.
Operation & Settings
There are three buttons on the silicone control section of the handle. Two circles, one surrounded by several other rings (making it appear larger) and the other surrounded by only three rings (making it appear smaller), and these two buttons separated by a central, standard power symbol button.
To turn on the Satisfyer Vibes Magic Bunny Rechargeable G-Spot Vibrator, I just pressed and held the power button for a moment, and it buzzed into life. To turn off, press and hold this button again until the vibrations cease.
The two ringed buttons control both the speed of the constant vibrations, as well as letting you scroll through the patterns. The vibrator is quite unusual in this way; Pressing the larger-looking circular button ups the speed of the constant vibrations in increments (the toy starts mid-range of the 5 constant vibration speeds), until you’ve reached the fastest speed, then another press starts you on the patterns. Pressing the smaller-looking circular button decreases the speed of the constant vibrations if you’re still in that mode, or if you’ve accidentally pressed up one to many times and find the patterns, pressing the smaller-looking button acts like a ‘back’ button.
This has been very useful –I’m used to just pressing up, up, up to the fastest constant vibration and with the Satisfyer Vibes Magic Bunny Rechargeable G-Spot Vibrator I find myself on the patterns by accident and need to press back to content myself on the highest constant vibes.
Not that the fastest constant speed is in any way disappointing –we’ll get to that.
As you look at the buttons with the toy in your hand, shaft facing up, you may expect the top button to be the ‘faster/up’ button and the bottom one to be the ‘slower/down/back’ button. Not the case with the Satisfyer Bunny.
Turning the toy round, as if you were about to insert it, makes sense of the layout. While it’s inside me, the button that’s then at the top is my ‘go faster’ button, and the one then at the bottom is ‘slow down there, whoa!’ button.
Patterns? I’m not into them to be honest, but if you’re interested, they go like this with each extra press of the bigger button after the constant vibes:
- Wave
- Faster wave
- Fastest wave/pulse
- Stutter pulse
- Stutter pulse, then low vibration, and repeat
- Ascending pulse
- Slower ascending pulse
As I’ve mentioned, just press and hold the central power button from any setting to turn the vibrator off. Once you switch it back on, the Satisfyer Vibes Magic Bunny Rechargeable G-Spot Vibrator starts up again from the lowest constant vibration mode.
During Use
I was immediately and pleasantly surprised by the power of the vibration. The Satisfyer Vibes Magic Bunny Rechargeable G-Spot Vibrator starts up mid-range of the 5 constant vibrations (you can press back to discover the 2 slower vibe increments if they’re your gig), and even the start-up vibration is purringly rumbly. Pleasant surprise soon turned to delight when I reached the highest constant speed; I had misjudged this vibrator, clearly. Powerful rumbles shuddered through the shaft and focused in the tip.
Using it then and there simply as a clit stim, through my clothes, it was less than a minute before I reached orgasm thanks to those deliciously powerful vibrations.
Ok, the Satisfyer Vibes Magic Bunny Rechargeable G-Spot Vibrator was going to need plenty more research.
Using the bunny internally was a different experience. Still pleasurable, but I just didn’t get to appreciate those powerful, rumbly vibes in the tip of the shaft as much as I did when using them for clit stim. As I’d thought, the tip wasn’t quite angled enough for great G-spot stim for me personally –your body may vary, obviously.
I’m extremely pleased that Satisfyer decided on a single area of silicone material for the clit stim part rather than the traditional split ear style. I much prefer this single piece style for clitoral coverage and stimulation, easier for me to get off with and much more comfortable besides.
The Satisfyer information regarding this toy says that it has two motors inside. These both seem to be in the shaft, as far as I can tell –it doesn’t seem like there’s a motor in the clit stim area. I’ve pressed and prodded and twisted and can’t detect one inside, short of cutting the thing open (and I really don’t want to!).
Vibration through the clit stim part depends on the power from the shaft motors in order to vibrate that piece of silicone. This is a real shame, because it had a big impact on my enjoyment.
While using it as a rabbit vibrator, the clit stim felt nice enough, but nowhere near as satisfying as if it had one of those deliciously powerful motors inside it, all to itself.
Because of the lack of a more definitive angle on the tip for G-spot stim, and the lack of enough oomph for me in the clitoral stimulator area, I’ve ended up mostly using the Satisfyer Vibes Magic Bunny Rechargeable G-Spot Vibrator for clitoral orgasms –using the shaft externally to take advantage of those fantastic deep, rumbly vibes.
Summary
I’m sure that the Satisfyer Vibes Magic Bunny Rechargeable G-Spot Vibrator is someone’s perfect rabbit vibrator. There’s just a couple of improvements I feel could be made to it to make it my perfect G-spot rabbit.
A more pronounced angle at the tip, for easier, more precise G-spotting, and a separate motor in the clit stim area to dial the vibrations felt from that part all the way up to 11.
Of course, not everyone loves toe-curlingly intense vibrations on their clit, and I’m sure that for plenty of people, the vibrations felt in the clit stim part will be orgasmic.
Despite my first impression of the Satisfyer Vibes Magic Bunny Rechargeable G-Spot Vibrator not being long enough to satisfy, it felt brilliant once slid into position inside with the help of a little lubricant. Thanks to the clever finger loop handle, the bunny was easy to keep hold of and manoeuvre during use as well.
After use, clean-up was easy thanks to its waterproof finish, which also opens up possibilities for bath and shower play.
A well-priced, well-made sex toy with deluxe features and powerful vibrations, which I’m sure will thrill many rabbit vibrator lovers.
