Pipedream King Cock 8 Inch Dual Density Dildo With Suction Cup Review

By Pleasure Panel reviewer BarginHunta

A large, fulfilling dual density silicone, body safe realistic cock – what’s not to like? When we were given the opportunity to review the Pipedream King Cock 8 Inch Dual Density Dildo With Suction Cup supplied by Bondara we were very excited. Well, hubby was – he kept the details of the item secret from me to start with!

Packaging

The Pipedream King Cock 8 Inch Dual Density Dildo is packaged in a clear formed plastic shell, with the dildo itself encapsulated and standing proud to attention and on display! There is nothing discreet about this packaging.

First Impressions

My husband initially kept the details of the dildo a secret, which in hindsight was probably a good idea, because as much as I am getting accustomed to larger toys (which I love), I do tend to be more apprehensive than I need to be, and this would have had me running a mile!

This is a fairly large dildo, both in length and girth, not “scarily” so, but still a fairly decent size.

First Use

For the first use my husband had washed the dildo and left it soaking in a bowl of warm water to try and bring it up to temperature, whilst I was blind-folded and warmed myself up with some of my favourite toys. After ten to fifteen minutes he brought it, dried it off, and lubed it up.

It promises length and girth, and it certainly delivers on that, but I have to say, it was still quite cool, despite having been soaking in hot water for ten minutes.

The packaging claims that it is the most realistic dildo you will ever have felt, but it doubtless still has a long way to go; there was no mistaking that this was a dildo, and despite being dual density it seemed unrealistically firm with little give.

Once my body became accustomed to the length and girth I was able to take it comfortably (something that surprised me when I saw it afterwards!) but although it moved easily, it didn’t really ‘do’ very much for me; eventually through frustration we switched back to a different dildo and I really noticed a difference, despite the replacement being smaller in both girth and length.

Realistic?

So with the first ‘physical’ impressions out of the way, and now having full use of my eyes it was time to see this thing!

My first thought was “wow – its huge!” but that very quickly changed to thoughts of quite how this was described as “realistic”… I mean it is flesh(-ish) coloured, but if my husband’s penis was this pale I would be concerned for its health!

There are certain ‘colour features’ that I would think are common across most if not all penises, such as the head being a deeper darker colour than the shaft, and the shaft itself at least having some colour to it, but this necro-penis has none of that; it is pale and lifeless looking.

Texture

Next I was interested to try and determine why, for a long girthy dildo, the Pipedream King Cock 8 Inch Dual Density Dildo did so little for me.

Then it occurred to me, there is almost no texture to the surface of this dildo! Obviously different penises have different amounts of ‘texture’ but this is really smooth, which just doesn’t do it for me.

Compared to the sales images (courtesy of the Bondara website) both the colouration and the texture of our dildo seemed way off; much paler in colour and nothing like the defined ridges that seem to be shown in the photo, which seems strange as this dildo was used by Bondara for product photography!:

The Feel

The Pipedream King Cock claims to be a Dual Density dildo made of “Fanta Flesh®”, but in use I couldn’t feel any ‘dual density’ to this. Even in my hands, squeezing and kneading the dildo I could not feel any sense of a ‘dual density’, the whole thing felt like the same structure, with perhaps just the outer skin being a different material. It was overly firm during use, with little give in what I would expect to be the ‘outer’ layer, and yet holding the dildo in my hands I could relatively easily fold it in half, implying to me that there is also no ‘firm inner core’. I found that this lead to a lack of comfort during use, but also lack of any real strength to the dildo.

So, colour and texture both get low marks, can the Pipedream King Cock 8 Inch Dual Density Dildo make a come back?

Flared Base / Suction Cup

I don’t have a harness so can’t rate the “Strap-on compatibility” that the dildo claims to have, but with the flared base we have no reason to believe that it wouldn’t work.

Of more interest to us was the “powerful suction cup base” that is claimed on the packaging, so we got to work trying to stick it to every flat surface we could find!

The bath, the tiles, a plastic chair, the smooth painted wall, the mirrored wardrobe doors, and this thing really sucked! – Unfortunately not in the way that was intended, the suction cup on this is DIRE! We could not find a single surface that it would attach to, nothing, nada, zilch.

To be honest we weren’t overly surprised, the base does not honestly look like a suction cup base at all. It seems too thick with no flex, and no ‘cup’ to it, more of a minor dimple:

Thing were not looking good for the Pipedream King Cock 8 Inch Dual Density Dildo, and unfortunately things got worse from here.

Visibly Porous Material

One of the things that had really appealed to us about this dildo was the fact that due to it being made from silicone we expected it to be extremely hygienic and easy to clean, but this was not the case. Once we started looking at the dildo in detail we found it to be covered in “open pores”, gaps in the silicone, and numerous nooks and crannies. The two most noticeable points were on the underside of the head, and also towards the base.

[Note from Cara: Fanta Flesh is NOT silicone; Pipedream products stating they are made from ‘Fanta Flesh’ are actually made with porous TPE material]

This continued to the very tip of the dildo where the ‘realism’ was very accurate with a ‘hole’ in the tip, but between the shape of it, and the texture of the Fanta Flesh this just shouted dirt trap.

Filth Magnet

The hygiene factor doesn’t improve when you try to clean the Pipedream King Cock 8 Inch Dual Density Dildo either. Cleaning is fine, but drying is a nightmare! The slightest bits of fluff, lint, dust, hair, or anything else not bolted down is instantly attracted to this dildo. Even leaving it to air dry resulted in it collecting fluff as it dried! In the end we completely gave up trying to keep it clean, instead resorting to cleaning it after use, then washing it before the next use and leaving it wet!

This toy may not have a noisy vibrator to notify people in other rooms of your activities, but don’t think for a moment that you can use it discreetly; it STINKS! On the first use I could smell this before I felt it, and that was after it had been washed and left soaking in a bowl of warm water. The scent reduces immediately after washing, but returns quickly enough that the room will smell strongly of it before you finish playing.

Final Thoughts

In summary, the Pipedream King Cock 8 Inch Dual Density Dildo had such promise, but was sadly let down by a lack of finishing quality.

Ignoring the colour & texture issues, in use it was ‘acceptable’ for me and if relatively smooth dildos are your thing it may well work for you. However for us the real deal breakers were the complete failure of the suction cup, and the sheer difficulty it keeping it clean.

Overall rating 3/10
