OVO W2 Bullet Vibrator Review

By Pleasure Panel reviewer RomanticIsa

The OVO W2 Bullet Vibrator: So I was in the Netherlands for business earlier this week. As usual when I go on a business trip, I had brought my toys with me so I could have some fun alone in the hotel room. As I unpacked my toys, I realised I had forgotten the charger for my bullet vibrator. I tried to console myself (‘I just charged it and haven’t used it much’), but what I feared happened: halfway through my session the stupid thing died.

Luckily I was in Amsterdam and there are sex shops on pretty much every corner in Amsterdam, so I went out and found a sex shop. The idea was to see if they sold charging cables, but they didn’t, so I was forced to buy another vibrating bullet. I ended up with the mini bullet vibrator from OVO, a brand I was not familiar with (but which is apparently German). I took the OVO W2 Bullet Vibrator back to the hotel room hoping it would be a good alternative.

As I wasn’t prepared to spend a lot of money on this vibrator, I got one which took batteries rather than a rechargeable one, which is not usually my preference, particularly not since these are the thin watch batteries. Undeterred however I put the batteries in and gave it a try. The OVO W2 Bullet Vibrator itself is really small, much smaller than my regular one. There are three different speeds and then two pulsing settings. I never like the pulsing settings, so I only really used the speeds.

The OVO W2 Bullet Vibrator itself is very easy to use. Just hold down the on button at the one end of the vibrator for a few seconds and it turns on. Using the same button will give you the different speeds. The vibe on the bullet was quite good. Not as good as my rechargeable one, but pretty close. It is also nice and quiet so you can use it quite discreetly.

The tip is sleek metal rather than silicone which was nice enough, but the edge where the metal ends and the silicone begins was quite annoying at times when it rubbed against me just wrong. Not quite painful, but distracting.

At first I was dismayed at how small the OVO W2 Bullet Vibrator is. I generally like a vibrator to hit more than just my clit and this one can’t do much more. You can hold it sideways and still get some vibration, but it’s quite a precise little thing. But just as I started to wonder whether I had made a mistake buying this, I discovered a benefit to the small size.

I often like using my glass dildo for G spot stimulation and then something else for my clit. My regular vibrator is too big to use with the glass dildo as it keeps bumping it and I am always worried about damage to the glass. This little bullet, however, is small enough so that it can stimulate my clit without hitting the dildo. And when using it in combination with my fingers, it sends a pleasant vibration through my fingers into my vagina without getting in the way of my hand.

The one drawback of the OVO W2 Bullet Vibrator is that when it’s all lubed up and slippery, it’s really hard to use the on/off button, so it’s not that easy to quickly turn it off.

This bullet vibrator is not going to be my go-to vibrator in the first instance, but I don’t regret buying it. I will certainly use the OVO W2 Bullet Vibrator more when I have a somewhat more leisurely masturbation session as it is perfect in conjunction with my fingers or a dildo.
