The packaging is not quite so petite. Given the size of the toy this is actually quite excessive and could easily be halved. Negatives aside, the packaging is sleek, modern and unintimidating. I much prefer toys without crude images as these always seem to cheapen the toy regardless of quality.

This Nexus anal toy is USB rechargeable. A small pin is inserted into a port in the base and this blinks blue during charging becoming solid once fully charged.

Nexus describe the six vibration modes as strong and steady vibrations but unfortunately, I don’t agree. For a rechargeable toy I found the vibrations to be very weak and so high pitched/buzzy. Even the three patterned settlings are numbing and buzzy. I didn’t manage to eak a clitoral orgasm out of any of them, finding I went numb long before I came. The vibrations didn’t seem to fair any better internally either, the buzzy sensations just did nothing for me.

The petite size does mean the Nexus G-Play Plus Small Rechargeable Vibrating Butt Plug is great for beginners to anal play. I know myself that anything bigger than a finger or two was intimidating in the beginning so the size of the G Play small makes it a great move from paying with digits to small toys if you’re nervous.

The T-shaped flared base means there should be no risk of any unwanted travel up into your body when used anally by the G Play. I like to use a lot of lube even with smaller toys and the large base meant I felt secure I wouldn’t be losing it up my bum.

Nexus advertise the Nexus G-Play Plus Small Rechargeable Vibrating Butt Plug as suitable for vaginal play as well as anal. I don’t personally like using toys in both areas as I’m very paranoid about cleanliness and bacterial transfer, however, the outer silicone is removable to allow thorough cleaning. The whole G Play is waterproof so can be used in the bath/shower as well.

Nexus only recommend water based lube for use with the G Play range as silicone or oil based lubricant can degrade silicone toys over time.

The flared base it just about big enough to prevent the Nexus anal toy travelling into your vagina (unless you wanted to fully insert it). But for me it was far too small to offer any internal stimulation vaginally, I need my toys to be much deeper. Coupled with the weak and waspy vibrations the Nexus G-Play Plus Small Rechargeable Vibrating Butt Plug was pointless for me vaginally.

I love anal sex but in all honesty, I think this Nexus anal toy is too small for anyone who has progressed anally beyond one finger. It’s unintimidating as a beginner’s toy but I think most users would quickly outgrow it.
