Minx Bliss Bullet Vibrator Review

By Pleasure Panel reviewer Louise Lace

I volunteered to review the Minx Bliss Bullet Vibrator as part of the Pleasure Panel. The dinky vibrator arrived by post in record time, I’m sure Cara bribes the Post Office with sex toys for the deliveries to arrive so quickly!

The Minx Bliss Bullet Vibrator comes packaged in a teeny little pink and white box. There is an image of the bullet on the front and a diagram on the reverse which highlights the product features and operating instructions.

The bullet is battery operated and takes 3 x LR44 batteries, as I don’t require a hearing aid… yet… I was pleased the product was supplied with batteries as my battery drawer is filled with TV remote batteries which are actually bigger than this bullet.

The packaging informs me that the Minx Bliss Bullet Vibrator is made from ABS material which is latex and phthalates-free, is waterproof and has 7 operating modes. It shows charts of the vibration patterns ranging from fast, vari pulse, vari vibe to wave.

Upon opening the box, I find that the Minx Bliss Bullet Vibrator is not secured by any further packaging, it is left to rattle round the box as it pleases. The bullet is hygiene sealed in clear plastic so I can rest assured that it has not been used.

The clear plastic was a nightmare to remove, there was no perforated strip to split the plastic, no raised edges to pull on, nothing. The only way to break the plastic was to poke at it with a sharp knife which put the Minx Bliss Bullet Vibrator at risk of damage before I even had the chance to turn it on. I would strongly recommend that Linx upgrade their packaging of the Minx Bliss Bullet Vibrator to include a perforated strip to help with the opening process.

The Minx Bliss Bullet Vibrator really is dinky, at around 6cm in length and 5cm in girth, it is very light weight, it reminds me of those jumping beans you used to get from the local fairs.

The bullet I received is a dark violet colour with a black operating button and a black seal where the bullet unscrews to change the batteries, but I do believe it may be available in other colours if purple is not your colour.

Minx Bliss Bullet Vibrator Review

The Minx Bliss Bullet Vibrator is made from a hard, unforgiving ABS plastic; it is completely smooth with a rounded tip. The ridge where the battery compartment unscrews could harbour lube and bodily fluids but as the bullet is waterproof this shouldn’t cause too much of a problem but I will take care to ensure it is completely clean after use.

Using the Minx Bliss Bullet Vibrator is really easy, the single operating button is used to turn on the vibrations and move through the mode settings. As there is only one button there is no backsies so if you skip past the setting you prefer you will have to flick through the remaining settings until you get back to the one you wanted. When turned on the bullet is very ‘buzzy’ not a hint of a rumble in the settings, it does switch through the settings easily enough and with 7 patterns to choose from, there is bound to be a setting to suit all.

I tried the Minx Bliss Bullet Vibrator more than a few times and found the only way I could reach orgasm was to incorporate other toys into my play sessions, the vibrations are just too buzzy for me and the steady vibrating pattern is just not quick enough for my liking and as this is the only steady pattern I struggled to get to the point of orgasm with it. I didn’t fare much better with the patterns either, while the changes in speed and waves of vibrations kept my clitoris guessing as to what it would be hit with next, I just couldn’t get past the buzziness of them all.

Minx Bliss Bullet Vibrator Review

At less that £10, the Minx Bliss Bullet Vibrator is pocket change compared to other bullets on the market, the buzziness of the vibrations, the hearing aid batteries and the unforgiving plastic material do let the bullet down, but if you want something small and discreet for your weekend away overnight bag, this little bullet could just do the trick. Overall, I much prefer the rumbly vibrations of my slightly more expensive Rocks Off bullet vibrators and it is unlikely that I will use the Bliss Bullet Vibrator once the hearing aid batteries run out so its a 4/10 from me.

I received the Minx Bliss Bullet Vibrator free of charge from Simply Pleasure as part of the Pleasure Panel in exchange for my thoughts and experiences. Thank you for the opportunity to test it out.
