Loving Joy Oui Fifi Rabbit Vibrator Review

I’ve been asked to share my thoughts on one of the latest Loving Joy rabbit vibrators. This one is called the Loving Joy Oui Fifi Rabbit Vibrator. It looks like a LELO sex toy what with the pretty unapologetic tribute to their handle design (oval finger loop with metallic inner surface). At approx £50 it certainly isn’t a purchase to rush into. But does the Loving Joy Oui Fifi Rabbit Vibrator live up to the claims on the box?

Specs

With a silicone cover over the mechanisms and a minimal seam the Loving Joy Oui Fifi Rabbit Vibrator feels smooth to touch. It’s quite long, with an overall length of 9.5 inches, with a maximum of 6.5 inches insertable. Maximum circumference of the shaft is 4.75 inches. It’s designed for vaginal use and there is a raised bump just above the handle to give additional labia or clitoral stimulation. Fifi’s shaft is curved, which I can only surmise is for a G-spot stimulation potential.

Rechargeable

The Loving Joy Oui Fifi Rabbit Vibrator is rechargeable and you will need to charge it up before use. There is a USB charger included, with a mains adaptor if that’s your preference. Lights on the front of the plug let you know when it’s charging, and ready (green and red LEDs). Looking at the instructions given with the Loving Joy Oui Fifi Rabbit Vibrator, they are… Well to be honest they’re hilarious. It’s clear that the original writer isn’t English and it’s a shame that this wasn’t given more attention before inclusion with the product. The grammar is terrible and you have to use your imagination to make much sense of them. Also, they’re presented on a piece of white card instead of the pretty common booklet style instructions you get with most vibrators classing themselves as luxury.

Lacking Luxury

Speaking of luxury I was also disappointed with the way the vibrator was presented inside the product – it was merely sat inside a plastic moulding, inside the outer card box. The charging lead and plug are next to it and inside its own concave area – but neither are actually secured within the packet leaving them to rattle around during storage and transit before reaching a customer. I also didn’t get any kind of storage pouch for the Loving Joy Oui Fifi Rabbit Vibrator, which is odd as it’s a silicone toy and I would think a storage pouch with a luxury vibrator pretty standard fare. You can’t store silicone toys next to each other so if I want to keep the Fifi safe I need to buy my own storage box or pouch. I am sure this could have been included with a little forethought.

Once it’s charged up (took about 3 hours to get to full charge) it’s pretty simple to activate and scroll through the functions. Particularly if you have a LELO Insignia vibrator. The control panel looks like the result of quite the LELO fan, boasting pretty much the same ‘infinity’ logo control panel. + and – vibration speed buttons with the () button in the middle to go through the functions.

You can also lock the vibrator by pressing + and – together for 6 seconds (seems like ages!) and then do the same to unlock it.

Functions

To turn on, press the + button. You then press the central () button to cycle through the settings.

  • constant lower motor
  • constant tip motor
  • pulse, one motor then other
  • slower pulse, one motor then other
  • both motors constant
  • both motors pulse (in sync)
  • both motors pulse (in sync) faster

To increase the speed you need to press the + button. You have to press once for each increment of increase. Likewise when you want to decrease the speed or to turn off, you need to press the – button repeatedly to go down through the speed increments, all the way to off. You can’t just press and hold to get to ‘off’ like you can with many other vibrators such as the Rocks Off and LELO vibrators. This is a bit of a nuisance for me.

During use the Loving Joy Oui Fifi Rabbit Vibrator is easy to hold thanks to the finger loop, and the buttons are easy to find. One minor detail to note is that there is a noticeable seam on the inner of the finger loop area, and where the silicone vibrator is attached to the metallic ABS there could be a much better, flush connection. I have a slight gap on mine where I could peel it back if I wanted to.

Unfortunately the Loving Joy Oui Fifi Rabbit Vibrator isn’t fully waterproof, it’s only water resistant. This means you can wipe it down with a damp cloth but not fully submerge it. I couldn’t take it in the shower or bath with me!

How Does The Loving Joy Oui Fifi Rabbit Vibrator Feel?

I thought that the Loving Joy Oui Fifi Rabbit Vibrator would feel as powerful in my vagina as it did between my fingers but sadly it wasn’t to be. It wasn’t much better used anally, which isn’t even the intended use for this vibrator. Maybe it’s the type of motors inside, coupled with the fact I love my intensely powerful vibes such as the Doxy Massager and iGino One. I don’t know exactly why I couldn’t get on (get off?!) with this vibe, I just know that I couldn’t have an orgasmic experience with it.

The raised bulge is in the wrong place for clitoral stimulation, but it does add a little to the stimulation felt at the vaginal entrance and to the labia. The curve is a nice touch but a) for me it’s not a sharp enough angle to stimulate the G-spot intensely enough and b) the vibrator is too long to be classed as a G-spot vibrator, based on others in the industry and human anatomy. The G-spot is located only a couple of inches into the vagina, not at the back.

Summary

As a penetrative, classic vibrator it does the job in terms of girth and length. For me though, the vibration just wasn’t deep, rumbling or powerful enough and felt quite tinny and light. Perhaps it would be best suited to a woman who finds most other vibrators too powerful for her vagina. Or newbies to vibrating sex toys, making that leap from penis or dildo to a vibrator for the first time – as long as the size doesn’t cause any issues. In my opinion, sexual lubricant is a must with this vibrator. The silicone can give an uncomfortable drag on the skin otherwise.

For the price tag I would have expected a lot more luxury and power (and a storage pouch!), and for me personally the shape of it didn’t really do the job as well as a more angled vibrator (ideally coupled with clitoral stimulation) could.
