This stunning paddle comes simply packaged in a clear plastic wrap, no fuss and little waste. The first thing that hits you when you open it is the smell; that rich leather smell that tingles the senses getting me excited for what is to come.
First Impressions
Next, turning the Loving Joy Bound Nubuck Leather Padded Paddle over in my hand and inspecting it I am in awe at the craftsmanship and beauty of this toy. It looks expensive, it feels expensive but yet it is quite affordable. It’s one of the most beautifully finished impact toys I have with different textures to yet again stimulate the senses.
One side is a hard leather with some ‘bubbly’ texturing, the other side is dual textured with the spanking surface being the most cushioned leather I have ever come across on a toy which is attached to the handle covered with a luxurious soft suede providing both grip and comfort for holding. Attached to the handle is a wrist loop for extra security when wielding or for hanging to store. Everything has been finished perfectly, the stitching is so neat and tidy and adds to the overall look, the handle has been shaped to make it easier to grip and the edges have been pretty well smoothed.
The Padding
I’m no stranger to impact toys but whilst I have padded crops I didn’t have any padded paddles. The cushioning on this though is unlike anything I’ve seen before, it’s so thick and really spongy, it’s perfect for beginners. Being hit with the cushioned side doesn’t really hurt, it feels nice and thuddy but there’s no sting along with it.
The Loving Joy Bound Nubuck Leather Padded Paddle is perfect for warming up and for some welcome relief in-between strikes with the firmer side. If you’re new to spanking this would be the side to start with until you’re comfortable to move on as being hit with the padded side is definitely much more of a sensual experience.
The flat side of the Loving Joy Bound Nubuck Leather Padded Paddle is made from a lot harder leather and is definitely meant for punishing. The flexibility of the paddle combined with the hard leather make for a great sting whilst the weight still provides a thud and helps the vibrations from each spank resonate through the flesh.
Spanking Sounds
Each spank also makes fantastic noise, there’s nothing quite like the sound of leather cracking off bare flesh to get the juices flowing. The initial sting of each spank automatically makes me jump and instinctively try to get away and escape each blow but the heat that comes quickly after the sting has me arching back and moaning for more. It doesn’t take long for this paddle to create a lovely rosy glow and a tingling heat.
I think my husband also quite enjoyed reddening my bottom with this as he spanked me for harder and for longer than he ever has before, he seemed to enjoy the feel of it in his hand and I definitely wasn’t complaining!
Summary
The entire paddle is about 37cm long with the spanking surface being about 20cm. The handle is tripled layered and is just under 1cm thick and the padding is around 2cm thick. I love this paddle, I’d highly recommend it. It’s beautifully made, smells divine and whilst being perfect for beginners with all that spongy cushioning it definitely has a place in the more seasoned players toy box and is more than capable of delivering a hard, stinging smack. It’s fabulous and I can tell this is one we’re going to reach for a lot.
