The packaging on arrival was just a clear plastic bag, I’m not sure what I was expecting – something a bit more glamorous I suppose for the price – but never mind, this didn’t deter me from it!
Taking the Lovehoney Moonlight Basque Set out of the packaging the first thing I noticed was how it felt and I couldn’t believe how luxurious it felt. The material feels thick and soft at the same time.
The cups feel so smooth especially with them being satin and also thick cups. While that doesn’t seem important to some I loved the idea that my boobs were going to be secure and in place. The main frame of the basque part of the Lovehoney Plus Size Moonlight Black Plunge Basque Set was plastic boned, so this was 6 plastic bones that run through the corset to help keep its frame and shape and fit around you. All the straps were adjustable from the back to the cups, that’s a big thing I liked that it was adjustable as not everyone is the same shape.
I’ve never personally put on something with so many clips, I suppose it is between a baby doll and a corset. So, putting the Moonlight Basque Set on was definitely an experience and I reckon its going to take a couple of tries to find the right way of getting it on.
I love the fact the Lovehoney Plus Size Moonlight Black Plunge Basque Set has four different settings for clips which means it can be adjusted in size depending on how tight you want it. Initially I tried the Moonlight Basque Set on the loosest just to make sure I could get it on and it had such a lovely fit to it.
When I eventually got through all the clips and making sure I had done them correctly I pulled it into place and when I saw myself it gave me such a massive boost of confidence. I couldn’t believe how well it fit on my curves and how it made my hips look, I was just completely speechless.
It’s not often I feel confident and good about something I’m in but this Moonlight Basque Set just ticked all the boxes.
The fit over my boobs considering I’m a 40 DD and over my belly and everything, just wow! The cups gave my breasts a nice boost up and the outfit made my curves and hips all roll into one. With it being slightly tighter too I felt it held my belly in slightly which made me feel so sexy and I was so excited to show my partner.
The straps on the top had a nice lace off them and a clasp which was absolutely gorgeous the way they looked. The whole design of the Lovehoney Plus Size Moonlight Black Plunge Basque Set was stunning with the silk belt being on it to make a bow, it was positioned to sit off to the side which I think really looked different and amazing. The colours of it all were gorgeous and really went together, which really added to the look of it.
The bottom of the Moonlight Basque Set has a lacy over trim which was amazing for me personally as I have a little overhang of my belly (joys of having kids!) and I found it covered this as well just leaving my thighs exposed. The back as the lace panel going around until the bottom of your back to leave your bum exposed slightly which really makes your backside look yummy and curvy!
The G-string was really comfortable and well-fitting for me. It sat at just the right place on my hips and I also didn’t find that it was cutting me in half like most G-strings or thongs feel like they are doing!
Overall, I didn’t have any gripes about this and all I can do is praise it. From a girl who doesn’t have the best confidence in the world the Lovehoney Plus Size Moonlight Black Plunge Basque Set made me feel amazing and so damn sexy!
