I fell in love with the Lovehoney Late Night Liaison Deep Plunge Blue Crotchless Body from the moment I saw it! I would say most of my lingerie is some kind of bodysuit, mostly black, so a chance to add some color to my lingerie collection is always welcome. I have come to learn that bodysuits are deceivingly flattering, you would think after years crying in ballet as a kid about how I hated my leotard that I would not give a bodysuit a second look. However, something about the fitting and shape really does me justice; accentuating every fine detail of my body, giving me a very striking figure and adding shape to my normally square figure.

When my package arrived I had big plans for the contents, mostly for photos but nonetheless I was excited. I gave the Lovehoney Late Night Liaison Deep Plunge Blue Crotchless Body a good look before putting it on; I took notice to the navy lace, and strappy details. The lace seemed to be quality however it did not have much stretch to it. This was not too concerning at first I knew that the Late Night Liaison Blue Crotchless Lace Body was one size and more often than not in my experience with one size everything ends up fitting just fine.
After a wash and air dry I put Lovehoney Late Night Liaison Deep Plunge Blue Crotchless Body on… and was a little disappointed to find the one size fitting was not friendly to all sizes. Now this has its pros and its cons; negatively speaking this is totally uncomfortable. I find it hard to move, walk, pose, or do any action in this thing; I am having flashbacks to my ballet days and the terrible feeling of something riding up my body so hard.
In terms of size I am a US 10, Eu 42; I have wide hips and thighs but am pretty proportional. My legs and torso are both equally long, and I am a total “column” shape, I lack the hourglass feature people deem desirable. This is where a positive aspect about the fit sets in, the Lovehoney Late Night Liaison Deep Plunge Blue Crotchless Body is tight from the waist down resulting in some kind of an hourglass shape! I was very impressed how flat my stomach looked and the new curvature of my waist. This really shows how strong the lace is because this bodysuit was more like shape wear than a lacy delicate piece of lingerie.
I was left feeling like a Barbie Doll because I looked great but I need to make very minimal movements. After admiring myself for a moment I began taking some photos and really trying to test the Lovehoney Late Night Liaison Body out. As you can see in some of the photos pelvic area is struggling to remain covered and in its natural resting place. The crotchless nature is really great, because there is no way on this earth I would be about to just pull the bottom portion to the side for easy access.
Another aspect of the fit that will really depend on the person wearing it is the top. I feel like the material did the opposite and pulled more to the side giving me a huge gap between my breast. I decided I was more comfortable wearing a bra with the Lovehoney Late Night Liaison Body because it gave me more cleavage and a fuller top half. Depending on the shape and size of your breast this may not be any kind of a problem so use your own judgement in that respect.
Finally, the strappy design, I actually really love the straps, I feel like they add to outlining the finer parts of my body. At first I was not entirely sure what to think about the set of straps around the hip/waist area but after setting them in place they came in handy. I think there is potential to have some fun with snapping straps for some auditory sexual gratification as well as some pain/pleasure play.
The straps make my “thigh brows” (I heard the term in Cosmo once referring to the portion of fat above your thighs that is in style now) pop making my butt look enormous! I would say I have what I call a Victoria Secret Booty, because it is not a bubble butt but at the bottom it has a nice little shape to it. The Lovehoney Late Night Liaison Body gives my butt that bubble butt look. I would definitely say the pros weigh out the cons with fit for me, but I think this bodysuit is really better for a smaller person.
I would rate Lovehoney Late Night Liaison Deep Plunge Blue Crotchless Body a 7/10, because for me the shape and look are really what I strive for when I wear lingerie and that added a level of confidence for me, but the comfort really is the biggest flaw. I think there is potential if Lovehoney added some sizing to this, but until then really think about your shape and if this bodysuit is going to work for you. I will surely wear this again and I am sure my partner will absolutely enjoy the aesthetics, but I will not marathon in this thing. Maybe with time I can break the bodysuit in like a good pair of shoes, but I do not know how much time that is going to take, so shop at your own risk.
