I was informed prior to receiving this cock ring that it did not come with any instructions, but thought how hard can a cock ring be to operate? When it arrived, this review sample item was in a sealed bag type of packaging with a clear front and silver background -packaging direct from Lovehoney may be more detailed.
The Lovehoney BASICS Vibrating Mega Ring is made of soft stretchy skin safe rubber (TPR) and can stretch to accommodate small or large penises with a maximum stretch of 4 inches.
This BASICS love ring is a single use cock ring, and can last up to 25 minutes. Once the battery is flat, it is not able to be recharged or replaced, hence the price. Just remember to be aware of how long it has been used for, as the last thing you need is for the battery to run out just as things start to get interesting.
Upon opening the package, this cock ring has a nice soft feel and I could stretch the ring to a large extent. The vibrating part needs to be taken out of the rubber sheath to switch it on with a single press button and it is only one speed so press for on and then press again to switch off. Once switched on, you place it back in the rubber sheath and the place on the penis where you want it to go. We placed it at the base of the penis with the vibrating part on the top of the penis, so that as it was thrust in, it would come into contact with my clitoris.
The other half liked the sensation of the vibrating part of the Lovehoney BASICS Vibrating Mega Ring where it was placed on his penis. He states it was not too intense to take his pleasure away, but enough of a vibration for him to enjoy it. I am not a big fan of cock rings for the simple fact that unless the penis is permanently in the same place, I don’t get too much sensation, however I was pleased the other half was enjoying the sensation.
The Lovehoney BASICS Vibrating Mega Ring stays firmly in place and did not slide around which we have had with other cock rings. The other half did say he maybe did not last as long while wearing the vibrating cock ring as he would without it, so sounds like he was impressed with it.
The sensation for me was not that intense. It was nice as it came into contact with my clitoris and cannot say whether or not it would have caused an orgasm if it had been in constant contact with it.
The price alone of this cock ring should encourage men and couples to have a go at a cock ring if they have never tried one before. The other half would definitely use one again, whether on his own or as part of our love making.
