But even the most gorgeous fabrics and outfits can be folded into very small spaces… the lack of depth to this calendar didn’t put me off. I knew Lovehoney would have created something seriously special here.
The box opens and re-closes with a magnetic fasten beneath the glossy card. On the inside of the front door to the calendar there’s an area whetting your appetite for the contents of your new Lovehoney 12 Nights Of Seduction Lingerie Advent Calendar. The Lovehoney 12 Nights Of Seduction Lingerie Advent Calendar looks decadent, seems decadent and is decadent. Although within an easily disposed of glossy card box with magnetic front door closure, there’s a luxurious elegance which can’t be denied and which has a definite festive appeal. The black with gold colours lend an air of extravagance which whets your anticipation for the saucy items which might be contained within. And there are certainly plenty to be found inside, trust me on that one!
Not having ever tried a lingerie advent calendar before –or even seeing one for sale anywhere- I wasn’t sure what to expect when it came to the lingerie contents. What exactly was meant by ‘lingerie’? Would it be all small accessory pieces or outfits I could actually wear? Would it be cheap as chips, easily ripped or tacky pieces, or sexy lingerie items I actually would feel sensual and seductive in?
I don’t want to give too much away (at least in this top of the review, spoiler-free zone!) but I was extremely happy with the offerings in the Lovehoney 12 Nights Of Seduction Lingerie Advent Calendar. The colours all suited me absolutely perfectly, and it was like someone had put the pieces in the calendar with me in mind, to be honest. That said, I get on well with the sizing and styles of Lovehoney lingerie in general (apart from when specific cup sizes are required, but that wasn’t an issue here).
There are plenty of outfits I can wear to get his (and my!) pulse racing in the bedroom, but many are versatile enough to be worn as a sexy secret underneath everyday wear as well. I love that in an item of sexy lingerie; being able to have it on all day (and go to the loo! Very important), smiling to myself regularly as I anticipate the reveal as soon as I choose.
An absolutely brilliant idea, and fantastic first lingerie advent calendar (that I’ve ever seen). It’s well worth the £85 price tag in my opinion –I thought it was going to be a lot more. Especially as you get over £170 worth of sexy lingerie items for your collection!

Crotchless Lace Spaghetti Strap Body
This crotchless lace spaghetti strap body comes in universally appealing black. The slender spaghetti straps cross over at the back, while the material of the bodice is floral lace. I felt comfortable as well as seductive in this curve-flattering piece, which doesn’t ride too high on the legs.
It can be worn under your work/outdoor outfit to give you a secret smile all day long, and teamed with nipple pasties & thong from your own collection (as shown) to add an extra layer of tease to your late-night strip.
2. Sheer Lace Top Hold-Ups
These sheer lace top hold-ups in black are so pretty –and so versatile, too. Hold-ups are most definitely always welcome in my lingerie collection, not only because he loves ruining the ones I have in the filthiest ways (!) but because I adore teaming them with both bedroom & outdoor-friendly outfits.
The legs of these hold-ups are sheer, to give an innocent ‘everyday hosiery’ look when worn underneath skirts and dresses. Meanwhile the tops have a wide lace band with rubber grips to help keep them in place.
3. Lovehoney Lace Peekaboo Bra and Crotchless G-String
The Lace Peekaboo Bra and Crotchless G-String set is, perhaps unsurprisingly, extremely revealing! This set is certainly going to hot up your December (& all the new year, too). I’ve worn nipple pasties and another thong under the one provided in my photos, to make the pic safe-for-internet. Without those, this is an extremely risqué set which is sure to both ramp up your libido and that of your partner, too.
Pretty scallop edge black lace is adorned with small satin bows, while the bra and thong have slender black straps to maximise the exposure of your seductive curves. Halterneck ties and adjustable sizing band.

4. Red Heart Shaped Nipple Pasties
These are my first ever red nipple pasties -aren’t they cute?! Heart shaped nipple pasties are one of my favourite shapes to wear, in any case, and the vivid red colour is both festive and passionate.
The red heart shaped nipple pasties peel off from backing strips to attach easily, safely and comfortably over the nipple area. Wear under a semi-sheer lingerie set for additional tease points.
5. Lovehoney Crotchless Lace Peek-a-boo Body
This crotchless lace peekaboo body is similar to the body from Day One, except it’s presented in seasonal red, obviously. Where the breasts sit there are also gaps to provide the cheeky peekaboo flashes, and the gusset is crotchless style (hence why I’ve worn one of my own thongs underneath to make the photo a bit more safe-for-work!).
Again, like the black body from Day One, this crotchless peekaboo style in red isn’t too high cut on the legs to be comfortable. The slender crossover-at-rear straps are easy to wear and flattering. The main bodice is floral lace through which a tease of your body can be seen.
6. Red Sheer Lace Top Hold-Ups
Excellent! More gorgeous hold-ups, and in raunchy red. Like the black ones earlier, these hold-ups are sheer in the leg area, providing a more innocent look if you wore them with a long enough dress to the Christmas party, for instance. The tops have a wide band of lace with inner rubber grips to help ensure they stay in place.

7. Hourglass Suspender Bodystocking
The black hourglass suspender bodystocking is right up my street. As a curvy lady I love to find pieces of lingerie which flatter my curves –and this is fantastic for that. The semi sheer black area of the front is complemented by the fishnet material over the sides, back and legs. Drawing the eye to the central black panel at the front helps to accentuate the waist to hip ratio, while the cut-out area formed by the suspender straps will set pulses racing.
I love fishnet stockings and tights in any case, and the fact that this is a bodystocking which is both seductive in the bedroom and can be worn underneath an everyday outfit is just a massive bonus. Slim shoulder straps keep it discreet when you want it to be, and team with lingerie underneath (as I have in the photos) or nothing at all if feeling extra frisky.
8. Be Mine Crotchless Red Heart Back G-String
When I first set eyes on this G-String I exclaimed aloud about how pretty it is. Well, you can see the moment for yourself in the unboxing video. The Be Mine Crotchless Red Heart Back G-String really is very pretty, with dual straps that accentuate the curve of my hips.

Before owning and unboxing the Lovehoney 12 Nights Of Seduction Lingerie Advent Calendar I didn’t own many bodystockings, usually selecting hold-ups, bra & thong sets or dresses instead. However, this is the second bodystocking style from the calendar and it’s just as gorgeous as the first.
With its unusual combination of fine-mesh fishnet and floral lace materials, this bodystocking is breathtakingly seductive. Slender and comfortable spaghetti shoulder straps help the floral area cling attractively to your breasts, while the fine-mesh fishnet with vertical line highlights gives the illusion of a narrower waist.
