Liberator Axis Magic Wand Mount Review

I was thrilled and honoured to get the opportunity to review the Liberator Axis Magic Wand Mount! I had been looking at all the different Liberator sex furniture and weighing my options and thoughts on which one to purchase, but then the amazing Cara Sutra offered me one of these to review for her sex blog! To say the least I was very excited!

The Liberator Axis Magic Wand Mount is essentially a wedge sex position aid/sex furniture with a place to stick your vibrating magic wand/other sex toy into.
I received my Axis in discreet cardboard box with a Liberator pamphlet giving me an overview of the brand, product and ideas of ways to use the wedge.
The Wedge I received was black in colour and the dimensions are 50cm – 50cm – 17cm. The wedge has the toy placement holder in the middle of the wedges high end. The toy holder is essentially two foam pieces snug next to each other to form a tight fit Place for the handle of the magic wand/vibrator/dildo. There is also a small “screen” so you can control the wand without taking it out, and also a cord opening at the smaller end of the wedge so you can have a seamless and cordless experience.
In use:
I took a long time trying out the Liberator Axis Magic Wand Mount! I wanted to be creative and have fun. I will review the ways I used it and the pros and cons of the things that came up in the process.
Some things where better than others and some unconventional ways where way more fun that the ones listed as the Liberator suggestions.
Different positions with Liberator Axis Magic Wand Mount:
My Doxy fit in well, I could see the buttons through the screen and could control them fine. It was a little hard finding positions where the Doxy would stimulate me well, but I did find some fun ones. I also used a dildo in replace of the Doxy (I just fitted my favourite dildos in the part where a wand is intended and it worked very well!)
And without any toy in the Liberator Axis Magic Wand Mount, just as a masturbation position aid the Liberator Axis Magic Wand Mount was great. The wedge is firm and keeps it´s shape under my weight, so it did support me.
Missionary – (In a hetero situation I would have been the female and the Liberator Axis Magic Wand Mount was the male). I again held the pillow, between my legs and fucked myself with it. I held the wedge from the thinner end and had the thicker end with the Doxy/dildo toward my feet, I found this the most ergonomic. I got a great angle and speed in this position. I also did different missionary-variable positions, legs straight up/ legs crossed etc.
Probably the most known way to use wedge position aids is to put the wedge under the female’s butt, so that her hips are lifted. And the lifting of the hips create a more open view to the vulva and penetration is more stimulating to the g-spot and anterior wall of the vagina. I found this very true while masturbating! I felt like access to my vagina was easier and my dildos hit my g-spot with less angling with my hand/wrist. So a big yes to hip lifting! I used it so that the smaller end was under my lower back and the middle of the wedge was under my butt and the high end was left unused/a place for my feet.
Doggy style – where I was the fucker and the Liberator Axis Magic Wand Mount was the fuckee (In a hetero situation, I would have been the male and the AXIS would have been the female). Meaning, I held the wedge in front of me with both hands and grinded/humped/fucked the Liberator Axis Magic Wand Mount with the Doxy or the dildo. It was fun, I felt dominant and sexy. It was a little challenging to get a good grip, but I could still hold it fairly well. And just lying on top of the wedge with the Doxy buzzing didn´t work for me. The Doxy didn´t reach my clit, don´t know why -> so the fucking way was better.
The Liberator Axis Magic Wand Mount worked well without any toys in it. It served as a nice position aid, it supported my hips and lifted my butt, so it was a fun, different way to masturbate in doggy. Doggy isn´t the easiest position to masturbate in for me, but AXIS did help.
Cowgirl – (In a hetero situation I would have been the female and the Axis was the male). My verdict – fun but needed some extra help from pillows. When the thinner end was behind me and thicker end in front of me, I was constantly either falling back down the slope or forward of the edge. So I solved the problem with adding some pillows on the slope behind my butt and in front of the Liberator Axis Magic Wand Mount so I could lean forward, so it resembled more of a big stash of pillows with the Axis holding my sex toy in place. It worked well! But by itself the wedge wasn´t just for riding, in my opinion.
Other things I noticed:
-The Liberator Axis Magic Wand Mount is a great piece in my collection! I enjoy using it especially during long masturbation sessions, because shifting my position and having support in different places helps me not get as many cramps around my body (legs, hips, back). Moving around and changing the way I tense my muscles gives me a longer time to marathon-masturbate.
-Cleaning is easy because the top fabric comes of (like a pillow case) with a zipper.
– Storage is actually a little difficult. There is no storage bag and it doesn´t go into a smaller shape, so it kind of just is what it is. I just had to find a place for it.
Positives:
– Helps with positioning and long sessions
– Versatile
– Easy to keep clean
– Firm so it keeps it´s shape but soft so it´s comfortable to lay on.
Negatives:
– Price – expensive in my opinion
– Storage – just have to find a place for it to keep
– Handles on the side would be awesome
