LELO Siri 2 Vibrator Review

The LELO Siri 2 Vibrator (Sound/Music/Voice Activated Vibrator) was sent to me free of charge in exchange for a fair and honest review. This is a sample model, although fully working of course, so I just received the vibrator itself without packaging, info or charger. Luckily I have plenty of LELO chargers about the place, so I popped the LELO Siri 2 Vibrator on charge with the mains plug and lead while taking in some first impressions.

To be perfectly honest, the LELO Siri 2 Vibrator looked just like the first version of the LELO Siri to me. The Original LELO Siri Vibrator boasted the usual sleek form and combination of white plastic handle and silicone covered massaging area that LELO are famous for, and so does Siri 2. My original Siri is purple, my new Siri 2 is pink. It’s a fuchsia pink rather than baby or bubblegum pink, allowing it to still look classy and elegant.

The LELO Siri 2 Vibrator measures approx 3.75 inches in overall length, with a maximum circumference around the middle of its oval shape of 4.5 inches. There’s a raised curved area to the underside of the massaging portion, allowing the user to benefit from vibrating stimulation cleverly directed through this precision tip feature. The Siri 2 is quite clearly made for clitoral stimulation as its first port of call, but the shaped vibrating massager can also be used and enjoyed over erogenous zones over the body such as nipples, labia, perineum and others of your personal choice.

There are 4 control buttons on the LELO Siri 2 Vibrator fascia: up and down to scroll through the pre-set patterns and – and + to the sides which increase or decrease the vibrating intensity. To access the sound activated mode you need to press + to switch on then hold down the up and down buttons together for 3 seconds. Siri 2 will vibrate suddenly to acknowledge that it’s in sound activated mode. When finished, press – until it turns off.

As a basic silicone, rechargeable, waterproof, 8 vibrating pattern LELO vibrator (ok, perhaps not so basic after all), the LELO Siri 2 Vibrator performs beautifully. Just like the original LELO Siri did, in fact. The sound activated or noise responsive mode is a little different however. Although this is undoubtedly an ingenious feature and testament to the LELO engineers who are constantly trying to provide the most technologically advanced pleasure products for everyone, it’s just not consistent enough for me to properly enjoy. I cannot turn on the sound activated feature and know that I will be able to orgasm using this setting. I’ll explain in greater detail.

With loud, booming music, the LELO Siri 2 Vibrator does vibrate in response to the loud music but not consistently at all. It doesn’t vibrate to the beat or to the tempo, it seems to only be able to pick up certain pitches or frequencies and I’m not convinced it’s even to do with the volume of the music. It just seems to vibrate when it wants.

When I use my voice to activate the vibrations on LELO Siri 2 Vibrator in the sound activated mode, I need to hit just the ‘right’ notes and volume for the vibrator to respond. It’s difficult to get the LELO Siri 2 Vibrator to respond to my voice at all. This is certainly louder than I’d like to have to shout at my vibrator during masturbation. I don’t want to have to sing or shout at my vibrator at all, in fact. I want any noises emitted by me during sex or masturbation to be entirely spontaneous, not in some desperate plea for ♬ more pleasure, please ♬ .

Can we perhaps stop making sound activated vibrators now please? The Romant Amy didn’t work either. I haven’t tried the Oh Mi Bod Club Music Vibe or the Nalone Rhythm and Pulse, but I can’t really see their technology outstripping this brand new design from LELO. Of course if they were sent I’d give them the full testing treatment, in the hopes of finding that elusive perfectly responsive sound activated vibrator.

As I stated above, as a LELO vibrator the LELO Siri 2 Vibrator is fab. Whack it up to the top constant vibration and I can get my rocks off in under a minute. In fact that’s how I’ve mostly been using it (yay, new waterproof LELO Siri Vibrator), as the sound response mode has proven to be so frustrating it actually turns me off, never mind trying to get the vibrations turned on. Clitoral stimulation with a silicone covered, beautifully shaped pleasure object which is a delight to hold and use. It’s also quiet during use and waterproof too, for sexy bath or shower options. Performs wonderfully with water based lube and easy to clean with soapy water and a spritz of anti-bacterial sex toy cleaner. There’s even a travel lock function so it won’t suddenly go off in your luggage.

Buy the LELO Siri 2 Vibrator

If this sounds (see what I did there) like the sort of sex toy you need to add to your collection, you can buy your LELO Siri 2 Vibrator for ÂŁ79.99. It’s available in Black, Pink or Purple and comes with standard LELO storage box, satin storage pouch, sample of lube, LELO warranty, instruction manual and charging lead.

PS. The LELO Siri 2 Vibrator is only a few quid more expensive than the original LELO Siri, has two more vibrating patterns and is waterproof to boot, so you may as well invest in the new version – and who knows – perhaps the sound and music responsive mode will be to your liking after all.
