LELO GIGI Vibrator Review (Petal Pink)
My review of the LELO GIGI Vibrator in Petal Pink:
After a recent chat with an online sex toy company I was offered a LELO GIGI to review. Unfortunately they only had petal pink colour available, which isn’t my favourite… However, I do love luxurious sex toys. Who doesn’t? So I said yes – I will give a pink sex toy a go on this occasion (!), as it’s a LELO GIGI.

I feel very privileged in that I have been able to review so many LELO toys, they are truly luxurious and elegant. They are, after all, the last word in desirable sex toys. That word usually being ‘ergonomic‘. But we won’t go into that.
The LELO GIGI Vibrator has been designed (ergonomically, of course) as a penetrative sex toy, used vaginally by women, with a special G-spot stimulating area at the tip. The shaft of Gigi curves beautifully, finished with the angled, rounded head that is meant to vibrate and rub against your G-spot area inside during use, for the highest levels of pleasure.

Opening up the (in my opinion, overly pink) box, I was pleased that the pink of my LELO Gigi Vibrator was quite muted and elegant, rather than Barbie knickers pink. Yes, you know the shade I’m talking about.
It’s quite a sugared almond pink and the velvety smooth and soft silicone material makes it seem even more attractive, of course.
It’s now also available in Deep Rose (*ahem* purple) and Turquoise (which looks interesting), giving you the option to choose another shade if you so wish.

After my LELO Tiani 2, I was somewhat relieved to get back to ‘basics’ and have a normal LELO. Plug it in, charge it up, lay back and BUZZ.
Yes, LELO GIGI is a rechargeable vibrator, following in the footsteps of the rest of the range. No worry about having enough batteries to buzz you happy, just remember to keep it charged up and you’ll always be ready for a ride on your GIGI. (Sorry, couldn’t help it.)
To charge, simply plug the jackpin into the end of the LELO GIGI Vibrator, uncovering the port at the base of the handle. Plug the wall charger into a wall socket and leave charging for approximately 2 hours to get to full charge.
There is a white LED that pulses while Gigi is charging; once fully charged it emits a steady glow.
A full charge gives you up to 4 hours of play time.
Right, down to the functions!
The LELO GIGI Vibrator has 5 functions to choose from:
- Continuous vibration
- Pulse
- Faster pulse
- Fast dot-dot-dot vibration
- Wave, oscillating vibration
To activate, press the + button and the power will increase. To turn off, hold the – button and the vibration will decrease until the vibrator is off.
To cycle through the functions, just press the ^ and V buttons. Note that when you turn the vibrator off, then on again, you start from the first function, not from the one you stopped at.
During use, I was surprised how small GIGI is. It looks as big as my LELO Iris in the picture, but in reality it is just over 6 inches in total length, with 3.75 inches insertable. I would have preferred my GIGI a little bigger (not that I’m a bucket, you understand) but as it was, it still caught my attention sexually due to the delicious (and ergonomic) contours.
The LELO GIGI Vibrator would therefore be absolutely ideal for the petite lady or those new to sex toys and vibrators. Completely non-intimidating as well as non phallic, it has the beauty and grace to welcome you into the sometimes scary world of vibrators – from a newbie point of view.
When using GIGI vaginally, I was definitely glad of the superbly soft and smooth silicone, which has an almost velvet feel. it is completely seamless for a more comfortable glide between your flesh, as well as having that gentle curve to aid the positioning of the tip.
Here is where you can come to understand GIGI’s length a little more, the rounded, angled tip is not only easy to control due to the curve of the vibrator, it also stops where your G-spot is. Or at least, around that point – seeing as not all women have exactly the same anatomy, of course. You can use the bulbous and easy to hold handle to position it in the right place for you.
The buttons are easily located even during use, as your thumb finds the indented centre of the button and then you know up and down does the functions and the side keys control the intensity of the vibrations.
Scrolling through the functions, I did enjoy the fastest constant vibration but also the wave/oscillating one is fantastic to enjoy while laying back and dreaming… I especially like to use a clitoral bullet vibrator along with this toy as I’m a greedy mare and love all the sensations at once. Not tried it with a butt plug in at the same time yet, but it’s on the list.
If you’re going to use the toy standing then obviously it’s easier to use without any additional toys, but laying down you have a whole range of options.
Right, so now for my usual rule-breaking approach to sex toys and associated ephemera. This is meant to be a vaginally penetrative G-spot stimulating vibrator. So what do I also use it for? Clitoral stimulation, obviously! The tip of the LELO GIGI Vibrator is not only fantastic for rubbing against the G-spot inside, it also acts as a brilliant vehicle for the vibrations when used against the clitoris.
I can use the flatter, convex area of the head against my clitoris then ramp up the sensations by using the very top edge for more concentrated vibrations against those sensitive nerve endings. It’s really very effective.
Did GIGI do it for me? Yes it did and continues to do so. Sure, it’s not waterproof and psychic and remotely controlled like some of the newer toys from LELO, but it is easy to use, powerful and reliable. Keep it charged up and slip it into the white storage bag, keeping it close to the bed or somewhere private.
