The LELO ELISE 2 Vibrator comes in the same minimalistic, sleek packaging as the rest of the range. Definitively luxurious, the LELO packaging and design screams ‘boutique’ with nothing more than a seductive whisper.
Slide the black lidded box out from the main outer packaging and you reveal a box exactly like the others that contain the vaginal vibrators in the LELO range. Understated, with the LELO logo subtly placed in the top centre.
Within this box you get to your goodies. There sits the LELO ELISE 2 Vibrator, radiating orgasmic promise. Underneath the side area you find the accessories. A soft black storage pouch, wall charger, instruction booklet, warranty and leaflets and a sachet of LELO lubricant (‘personal moisturiser’, in their words).
First task to hand was charging up the ELISE 2. Very important! There is a charging port on the end of the vibrator into which you plug the jackpin of the charging lead. Then just plug into a wall socket and the control panel lights up to let you know you’ve take your first step on ELISE Orgasm Street.
My ELISE 2 took 3 hours to charge up the first time. After the first time it generally takes about 2 hours to charge up. A full charge gives you 4 hours of constant playtime.
This vibrator is made from medical grade silicone and is very smooth to the touch. As you can see in the photos, there is a slight seam that runs down the centre of the vibrator, and down the back centre. It’s a shame, but this is still a quality sex toy and it doesn’t bother me too much. If seams are your sex toys ‘bete noir’, you’d rather know.
This vibrator is not for the petite lady or a newbie to sex toys who wants a ‘beginner’ size. If you’re new to sex toy but like it large, feel free to grab this vibrator, though. I’m not petite (but not a bucket, thanks!) and I like complete fulfilment, so the LELO ELISE 2 Vibrator satisfies this way too. The measurements are: 9.5 inches in length which includes the curve, while the maximum circumference of the shaft is 4.5 inches. Lovely.
Switching the LELO ELISE 2 Vibrator on for the first time, I of course wanted to check out the range of functions and power that my new treasure had to offer. I don’t think I am great at describing functions, but here goes:
- Both internal motors vibrate on constant
- Shaft tip motor only, vibrates on constant
- Base motor only, vibrates on constant
- Top motor, then base motor, vibrate in a dash-dash-dash effect
- Same as 4), but faster, pulsation style
- Shaft tip motor has a wave or oscillation vibration
- Shaft tip motor has an ascending vibration, then stop and repeat
- Both motors vibrate and oscillate in a seemingly random pattern
In order to power up, press +. Press – to decrease vibration intensity. The up and down buttons are to change the function.
The lower motor serves to give me a bit of the white hand syndrome, so I tend to stick to the settings which use the shaft motor. As the top level speed intensity is so powerful (100% more powerful than the first version ELISE, apparently) this vibe can also be used for clitoral stimulation as well as used inside the vagina. The tapered tip gives you a precise area of vibration concentration too, which is very effective.
Used inside the vagina, the LELO ELISE 2 Vibrator feels sublime. It really does. I loved the LELO Mona, but this is just something else. I do like to use a clit vibe at the same time, still but I am addicted to clitoral stimulation. The curve of the ELISE 2 means that it buzzes against your G-spot too. Unlike the first ELISE, the ELISE 2 is fully waterproof, as you can see demonstrated in my functions/settings/aquatic video below. Orgasmic baths and sizzling showers. I do love sex toys I can take to the shower!
The LELO ELISE 2 Vibrator is a brilliantly designed concept for a sex toy and that concept in reality is a beautiful spectacle to both behold and experience. The only thing I can mark a point down for is the visible, if smooth, seam down the centre of the toy which is the only mark against its otherwise perfect contours and vibrating power.
