Joya Little Su Silicone Tulip Vibrator Review

By Cara Sutra

It was a privilege to be able to test the purple Joya Little Su Silicone Tulip Vibrator. This delicious looking silicone sex toy is currently priced at £59. The vibrator is listed under lesbian sex toys, but I am not sure why… the design would suit women of any sexuality.

First Impressions

There are a few positions shown on the Joya Little Su Silicone Tulip Vibrator product page for two women as well. It shows that the Joya can be used inside one woman, whilst she wears a strap on to penetrate her partner, thereby both women receive vibrating/penetrative pleasure.

I couldn’t find any information on whether the Joya Little Su Silicone Tulip Vibrator is waterproof or water resistant, so had to conclude that it isn’t.

The Joya Little Su Silicone Tulip Vibrator was received in the usual discreet packaging. The toy box itself carefully wrapped with the signature bright pink tissue paper, making it even more indiscernible and therefore supremely discreet within the padded outer packaging.

Presentation

The box for the Joya Little Su Silicone Tulip Vibrator had also been given a store hygiene seal as shown in the picture.

The Joya Little Su Silicone Tulip Vibrator sits safely cushioned within the padded inner casing of the box, specifically designed to not only hold the toy and protect it during transit, but also making it easily visible through the outer plastic casing.

The reverse of the box holds company and manufacturer details and is in a sleekly designed, chic white box.

Instructions & Battery Case

The Joya Little Su Silicone Tulip Vibrator even comes with full instructions and peelable side stickers on the toy (they don’t leave residue or anything) which explain that you need to squeeze the sides towards to bottom to pull out the end, where the batteries are inserted. It does explain this on the instructions as well.

The Joya Little Su Silicone Tulip Vibrator is powered by 2 AAA batteries, not included. Luckily I had a packet in the bedside drawer (always prepared) so slipped two in, following the battery directions as indicated within the casing.

After washing the toy with soap and water prior to first use, to get rid of any remaining chemical from the manufacturing process, I grabbed the water based lube and got ready to party with the Joya Little Su Silicone Tulip Vibrator.

During Use

Used inside the vagina the Joya Little Su Silicone Tulip Vibrator feels quite nice. The vibrations aren’t mind blowing and I needed to use another vibrator on my clit (the Rocks Off R0-80 bullet) to actually help me reach orgasm.

The Joya Little Su Silicone Tulip Vibrator has three modes, low, medium and high vibration. However the high setting wasn’t enough for a power queen like me! This is probably because I am used to the exquisite thrills of a magic massager (mains powered), LELO vibrators and high intensity clitoral bullet vibes.

Challenges

The main problems I found with the Joya Little Su Silicone Tulip Vibrator were:

1) when you insert it and try to play with it, you keep hitting the end button that turns off the power. There isn’t enough of a handle or any room for grip, so you are pushing the end to get it deeper inside you, which at the same time turns the Joya off, or scoots through the three vibration patterns then switches off.

2) Although the front vibrating ‘leaf’ area for the clit is a great idea, on me it didn’t rest against my clitoris naturally, it stuck out from my body when the main shaft part was inserted. I found myself trying to push this silicone leaf area against my body, but no joy; it simply stopped any vibrations from travelling through this part of the toy anyway.

Summary

Overall I was disappointed with the Joya Little Su Silicone Tulip Vibrator. It’s an ok toy to use with another clitoral toy, but that defeats the purpose of it. The idea of using it inside whilst using a strap on on someone else is a great idea, this would possibly help with the problem of the ‘leaf’ area not resting against the clit, but I doubt it would help fully. The silicone is not so flexible as to easily be forced to rest against the body in that position, I think it would just sit uncomfortably underneath whichever harness you wore.

It’s not terrible, it’s not excellent. It’s just ok. I wish I could write that the Joya Little Su Silicone Tulip Vibrator rocked my world and blew me away, but sadly that would be untrue.
