Jopen Opal Glass Rabbit Vibrator Review

The beautiful Jopen Opal Glass Rabbit Vibrator comes in a classy black and silver box with a clear display window and instructions on the back. It comes with a USB charging cable, but no storage bag which I felt was a little disappointing considering the price. The box is gorgeous but it’s a bit too big to use for storage; and I don’t have much space in my overloaded sex toy drawer!

The Jopen Opal Glass Rabbit Vibrator is a gorgeous colour and design, but it has a line running through the glass which doesn’t complement its good looks (see photos). Weight wise, it feels a lot lighter than it looks too. From the pictures I was expecting the silicone arm to be rigid, but I was pleased to discover that it’s quite flexible. The silicone feels lovely and smooth and doesn’t attract a single bit of dust. The tempered glass is gloriously smooth to the touch.

It requires a 2 hour charge before it’s full and should last 1 – 1.5 hours before a re-charge is needed.

Motors and Settings

The Jopen Opal Glass Rabbit Vibrator has 2 motors, one in the glass and one in the silicone arm. Unfortunately they can’t be controlled separately, which would be great if you like firm g-spot pressure but gentle clit stimulation. In fact, the silicone arm is more powerful in terms of vibrations than the head, and being smaller it offers more pinpoint stimulation.

There are 10 patterns which include 3 constant speeds. The box says they are ‘strong, powerful vibrations’ but I would rate them as low – medium; I have far stronger vibrators. But I also have weaker, buzzier ones too – I would place this somewhere between the two, verging on the buzzy side.

Operation

One thing I really like is when switching the Jopen Opal Glass Rabbit Vibrator back on again, it remembers your last setting. This is great if you have a favourite pattern or prefer a constant speed. The Jopen Opal is also 100% waterproof and ideal for shower play.

On the handle are two buttons; on/off and one to select a pattern so you can’t scroll back and forth. As there are only 10 patterns this wasn’t a huge problem for me, but it might be for others. The buttons are easy to reach on the handle.

Noise

Noise wise it’s rather loud and emits a strange sound, not particularly high pitched and buzzy, but not a lovely purring rumble either. It’s hard to describe! But it’s loud and a bit irritating – you’ll want to turn up your music when using this. I’d give it a 8/10 for noise with 10 being the loudest.

The Opal comes with a one year warranty.

Play Time!

The beautifully bulbous head really excites me with the Jopen Opal Glass Rabbit Vibrator. I apply lashings of water-based lube as the firm, glass head is going to be a squeeze! Don’t underestimate this vibrator, it really does have a large head! I take my time with insertion, take a sharp intake of breath and then give it a push. The head ‘pops’ as my vagina swallows it up; and then I get to enjoy the feeling of the glass against my g-spot.

Jopen Opal Glass Rabbit Vibrator Review

Some of the reviews I read about the Jopen Opal Glass Rabbit Vibrator suggested the silicone arm gets in the way, feels a bit stabby or doesn’t sit right. My experiences have been completely different. The silicone arm is flexible and bendy, and feels soft on my clit. I like to push the Opal in place sitting firm against my g-spot, and take hold of the arm. I circle it around my clit, keeping it on a continuous speed setting and leaving the Opal’s head vibrating and pulsating against my sweet spot.

Clitoral Pleasure

As I circle, I approach a lovely clitoral orgasm which feels pleasurable with the Jopen Opal Glass Rabbit Vibrator stimulating me internally. The shaft doesn’t vibrate powerfully enough for my liking so it takes me a while longer to come and it’s not such an intense orgasm, but it’s nice nonetheless.

This is my favourite way to use the Jopen Opal Glass Rabbit Vibrator; keeping it still internally and circling my clitoris with the silicone arm. After my first orgasm, my clit can get very sensitive so I like to push my finger underneath the arm to stop the direct contact, and grind the head against my g-spot. Then as I approach orgasm number two I allow the connection again!

The Vibrations

The vibrations feel good but I’d like more control over them; it’s a shame the motors can’t be controlled separately as I’d turn down the clit vibrations after orgasm, but then up the shaft vibrations.

Personally I like a bit more power against my G-spot than the Jopen Opal Glass Rabbit Vibrator can offer, but the shape feels incredible and I love the glass. I also really enjoy the silicone arm.

I’m not convinced the Jopen Opal Glass Rabbit Vibrator is worth the full price tag of ÂŁ100 and I would have been disappointed if I’d paid the full price. But it does have it’s good points. If the vibrations were more intense and rumbly, could be controlled separately and it came with a storage bag I’d have been a lot happier!

Recommendations

Not recommended for power queens due to the weak motor in the shaft. If you like gentle vibrations – or even no vibrations if you keep it switched off, then you may enjoy this, particularly if you like a girthy head! If you like dual stimulation but find rabbit ears a bit annoying, then you’ll probably like the silicone arm.

6/10
