Delivery & First Impressions
My new Jopen sex toy came in a very discreet outer package from My First Blush, while the sex toy’s packaging was sleek and professional. Jopen seems to be a high end sex toy designer, and the box certainly lends itself to that impression.
There’s an ‘actual size’ image of the Jopen Key Comet 2 on the front of the box, as well as clear text communicating the product name. On the back and base of the box I found a description of use, a list of features, material and care details. The sides of the box offer the list of features in a variety of other languages than English.
I felt that this vibe had the potential to be an impressive, brilliant sex toy –even before I opened the box.
The top half of the outer box is lifted off to reveal a lidded box, inside which the Jopen Key Comet 2 is carefully set into a firm foam insert. Seeing the curve of the vibrator in real life made me look forward to trying it out even more. So dramatic.
Inside The Box
As well as the main feature, the box contained a few other items. The USB/magnetic charging lead was retrieved from a recess just above the Jopen Key Comet 2 Rechargeable G-Spot Wand Vibrator.
Behind the firm foam insert I found a branded satin storage bag and a brief, fold-out multilingual instruction leaflet.
Material & Specs
The Jopen Key Comet 2 Rechargeable G-Spot Wand Vibrator is made from silicone and ABS plastic. The insertable part is smooth, firm silicone (body-safe and non-porous) and the handle is smooth shiny plastic.
This vibrator is 7.75 inches in overall length. Following the curve, the Jopen Key Comet 2 has a maximum insertable length of 4.75 inches, while the handle measures 3 inches in length.
That bulbous tip has a maximum circumference of 5 inches, then the shaft recedes to a circumference of 3.6 inches.

Charging Up
As a rechargeable sex toy, the Jopen Key Comet 2 Rechargeable G-Spot Wand Vibrator obviously needs charging up before play time. This is done via the included USB/magnetic charging lead.
I found that this isn’t the best charging lead I’ve ever used, but it did the job. Firstly, the lead was difficult to insert into any of my USB ports, for some reason, then the cord had been so tightly bound in the box that it actually caused the magnetic area to detach from the toy a few times.
Checking my ports and reassuring myself that I wasn’t jamming the wire in the wrong way around, and straightening the wire as best I could, I persisted. Eventually the wire stayed in place on the toy’s matching dual metal areas via the magnets, and a red LED lit up letting me know it was charging OK.
It’s not that the magnetic connection is particularly weak, just that the lead was so tightly coiled, I think!
Hopefully you won’t have the same issues as me, in which case the lead should plug into a USB port of your choice while the other end attached magnetically to the spots made for it on the Jopen Key Comet 2.
Operation & Functions
One of the ways that this vibrator manages to look so sleek and neat, other than the subtle charging area, is the operation button. Rather cleverly, it’s the circle on the end of the handle –the silver bit with KEY embossed into it.
Press and hold to turn on, then keep pressing to cycle through the vibrating options.
There are 7 vibrating options with the Jopen Key Comet 2:
- Constant vibration
- Very fast pulse
- Ascending
- Pulse
- Triple dot, double dash pulse
- Long dash pulse
- Double dash (alternating motors) pulse
At this point I was disappointed to discover only one speed of constant vibration. This is usually my favourite option when using vibrators, rather than any patterns, so I really hoped the one constant speed would suit me. I felt it was a shame there isn’t any way to change/raise the speed of the constant vibes -and to be honest, this is the only niggle I was left with after my experiences.
That said, I do usually require the top constant speed for clitoral vibration -I don’t use G-spot vibrators as often. At this point I guessed I’d have to wait and see what discoveries I made during my playtimes.
To turn off, just press and hold the KEY button again from any setting.
How Does The Jopen Key Comet 2 Rechargeable G-Spot Wand Vibrator Feel?
The first time I used my Jopen Key Comet 2 I wasn’t sure we’d end up getting along at all. The head is just so bulbous that inserting it felt rather uncomfortable – that unapologetically spherical tip pushing round my pubic bone and into position. The silicone, while smooth and reassuringly body-safe, feels a little draggy to me. The toy is also rather rigid –which is brilliant for a G-spot toy usually, as it means you get that firm stimulation against the G-spot area which can lead to intense orgasms.
I was also unsure if the vibration style would work for me; it’s not deep, bassy, thuddy and rumbly, but it isn’t absolute high-pitched angry wasp either. I did note some positives from my very first use: the Jopen Key Comet 2 Rechargeable G-Spot Wand Vibrator is very lightweight, meaning it’s comfortable to hold and use. No wrist ache. Plus, the vibrations are incredibly quiet.
After a little research, I found some great suggestions online about getting the best out of my Jopen Key Comet 2. During subsequent playtimes I used lashings of water-based lube (you could potentially use silicone lubricant if you prefer, because silicone lube doesn’t harm a 100% silicone material –I just have a personal preference for water-based). Also, instead of laying down to use the vibrator, I knelt up.
This made my intimate sessions with the Jopen Key Comet 2 Rechargeable G-Spot Wand Vibrator an entirely different experience.
A little messy, sure –but I didn’t care. Spreading my knees apart on the floor, that curve really came into its own. The addition of plenty of lubricant meant that insertion wasn’t only comfortable, it was easier and thoroughly sensual. The dramatic angle of the vibrator meant that once inserted, that strongly vibrating bulbous tip was pressed right against my G-spot area. I was trembling with pleasure within seconds. The vibration style (which I hadn’t been sure about, when just in my hand) delivered intense satisfaction when used against my G-spot.
Before long, I was taken over by a rapturous orgasm. I seriously though I might squirt while using the Jopen Key Comet 2. Clean-Up
After use, it’s easy to clean the Jopen Key Comet 2 Rechargeable G-Spot Wand Vibrator as it’s fully waterproof.
Before using the Jopen Key Comet 2, I was a little worried about where the plastic handle meets the silicone of the insertable part, then I thought it wouldn’t be an issue anyway. I figured I wouldn’t have to insert it so deeply that I enveloped that area. However, with the amount of lube that made using the vibrator silkily pleasurable, there was lube and bodily fluids coating the insertable part and the handle in no time.
It was all fine in the end; a quick gentle scrub with my trusty toy cleaning brush along with submerged washing soon got the Jopen Key Comet 2 completely clean.
Dry or leave to dry naturally then pop on the bedside table or in the included storage pouch ready for next time.
Summary
It may have taken a while for this vibrator to thoroughly seduce me from the quick-style wiles of clit stim vibrators, but thoroughly seduced I am. It’s given me a revitalised view of G-spot vibrators.
This vibrator has plenty to love about it: it’s lightweight, quiet during use, rechargeable, easy to operate via the handle button and well made. It’s also fully waterproof, meaning you could explore aquatic play options in the bath, shower or beyond, but for me it simply means it’s easier to clean. And thorough cleaning is a must after what has always been a happily messy playtime.
