Packaging & What’s In The Box
The Je Joue Uma G-Spot Vibrator box is clearly an upmarket design, with the simple but effective Je Joue logo central on the slender, rectangular box with deep fuchsia feather pattern and a velvet-cote finish. There’s some basic information about the product on the box and little card wrap-around.
Inside the box, which was sealed with plastic wrap for hygiene reassurance, there’s another lidded box (black this time), then inside that you discover the main event. I will say here and now that I absolutely love how simple everything is about the Je Joue Uma G-Spot Vibrator; you simply get the vibrator, the USB charging lead and small information leaflets.
No storage pouch but you can keep one or both of the lidded boxes to keep the Uma in between uses.
First Impressions
Taking the Je Joue Uma G-Spot Vibrator out of the box I was delighted with how elegant and shapely it was. The centre of the shaft is quite slim – not enough to make the toy fragile, just enough to give the impression of an effortless and sublime insertion even through that first glance. The base seemed flatly rounded enough to provide good grip for use as a handle, while the head was nicely angled upwards and bulbous – promising exciting G-spot stimulation.
I was a little worried that the buttons on the very end of the base would provide difficult to locate and/or press during use – they seemed quite small and I wasn’t sure about the placement either.
Charging Up
As the Je Joue Uma is a rechargeable sex toy, a USB charging lead is included. Instead of a jackpin or micro USB which is pushed into the vibrator, however, the charging lead is a magnetic type which doesn’t require penetration of the toy/the silicone material.
The curved magnetic area at one end of the charging lead fits flush and securely over the ‘controls’ area on the Je Joue Uma G-Spot Vibrator. It connected right away without any need for adjusting or setting up a mini-scaffold to stop it ‘dropping off’ (as I’ve had to do with lesser quality magnetic charge sex toys).
While charging, a red LED glows above the Je Joue logo by the base of the vibrator.
Operation & Settings
Once charged up I was able to get started playing with my Je Joue Uma G-Spot Vibrator. The controls are on the base of the vibrator as I’ve mentioned:
- (plus symbol) press and hold to turn on, then press repeatedly to increase vibration intensity
- (squiggle) change function
- (minus symbol) decrease vibration by pressing repeatedly, press and hold to turn off
There’s constant vibration via the + and – buttons, and pressing the central squiggle button allows you to access 6 additional vibrating settings:
- Ascending pulse
- Oscillating pulse
- Short thrust Pulse
- Fast consistent pulse
- Dash-dash-dash pulse
- Long dash pulse
Switching the vibrator off from any setting and switching on again brings you back to the original, low constant vibration, setting.
How It Feels
As the Je Joue Uma G-Spot Vibrator is a silicone coated vibrator, it definitely felt better slipping inside with the aid of some water-based lubricant. The silicone is quite ‘draggy’, meaning you may find it difficult to insert without lubrication unless you’re already well naturally lubricated. It also picks up a fair bit of dust and lint in storage, but a rinse before use sorts that out.
Slipping it inside was then easy and comfortable thanks to the lube, and the contours of the Je Joue Uma made even that early part of my self-stimulation session incredibly pleasurable. It was fantastic feeling the bulbous head slipping between my lips, my body enveloping it entirely, followed by the contrasting slenderness of the ‘neck’ before widening to the base/handle area.
The shape meant that when it was fully penetrating me, I could enjoy the rounded head deep inside, while the slender area made for easy guiding to exactly the right place without overly stretching just beyond my entrance, and the widening part towards the bottom gently stimulated my opening as I sought my personal sweet spot.
With an angled head the Je Joue Uma was brilliant for g-spotting; it wasn’t long at all before I knew I was pressing on the right area a few inches inside my vagina and tilting the vibrator upwards slightly to push even more delicious pression on my G-spot.
The vibrations are rumbly in a rechargeable vibrator way. That’s to say, they’re surprisingly powerful, and not ‘tinny’ or ‘buzzy’, but it’s not the same widespread area of rumble I get from a mains-powered wand vibrator. The Je Joue Uma G-Spot Vibrator is, however, one of the best rechargeable vibrators I’ve experienced for rumbly type vibes.

Controls and Climax
My fears over the location of the controls, and their small size, proved to be unfounded. It was easy to press them during use –I didn’t have to exert an annoying amount of pressure or dig in a fingernail- and they responded quickly and correctly. The fact that there’s just three buttons (on and more vibration, setting change and lower vibrations then off) made it easy to remember what I was doing despite the intense stimulation I was feeling during use.
As I don’t tend to orgasm through vaginal penetration/G-spot pleasure alone, I added a bit of clitoral stim during the occasions I used the Je Joue Uma G-Spot Vibrator solo. It wasn’t long at all before I was enjoying not only a delicious orgasm, but one made all the more richer and felt more deeply thanks to the G-spot stimulation on top of the clit flickering from a bullet vibe.
The Je Joue Uma G-Spot Vibrator was also fun to use during sex playtimes with my man… he loves to have anal sex with me while my vagina is filled with another toy, and the Je Joue Uma G-Spot Vibrator filled that position brilliantly. I did have to hold it in as the lubricant, natural lubrication and the toy’s contours conspired to make it slip out otherwise (in doggy style or missionary). It’s also fun to include when he’s giving me oral; his tongue clitorally and the Je Joue Uma vaginally is a combination I won’t forget in a hurry. I can also use it on myself while giving him oral, or for external stimulation wherever we desire.
The vibrations from the Je Joue Uma G-Spot Vibrator are the right level of power intensity and the right style to be able to bring me to orgasm not only through use as an internal (vaginal) vibrator –with a little help due to my personal stimulation preferences- but also when I use it as a clitoral stimulation vibrator. I can reach a clitoral orgasm with the Je Joue Uma without the need for anything else but a drop of lube.
Conclusion
The Je Joue Uma G-Spot Vibrator is a sublimely sumptuous sex toy which incorporates luxury at every turn – from the packaging through to the charging style and the design of the vibrator itself. It’s made with body safe and non-porous silicone, and is fully waterproof for bathroom-based fun and extremely easy clean-up between uses.
Not only does the Je Joue Uma look fabulous and feel great in your hands, it’s also beautifully effective. The shaft contouring and angled tip aren’t simply for aesthetics, they seek out the vaginal G-spot and, combined with vibrations, determine to thrill you to climax. The vibrations are surprisingly rumbly for a rechargeable vibrator, yet despite the power and rumble, aren’t too noisy. I feel comfortable enough using the Je Joue Uma G-Spot Vibrator under a duvet in my bedroom in a house full of people.
