Delivery & Packaging
Delivery from Lovehoney was fast and discreet as always. The Pumpkin Cock Ring comes in a glossy card pack giving you all the info you need about the sex toy, and you can see the ring through a transparent area at the front.
First Impressions
At less than a tenner I wasn’t expecting too much from the Halloween Party Pumpkin Vibrating Cock Ring; that retail price pretty much covers the fact you’ve bought a pretty Halloween novelty, not much else. Therefore, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it’s made of silicone, not a cheaper/less body-safe material like jelly or TPR.
It’s also waterproof – bonus. It takes 2x AG13 batteries (small cell type) which are happily supplied. The cock ring is a silicone shape with a space for the removable bullet vibrator.
I was looking forward to getting into the ‘spirit’ of things and giving this cock ring a try. I expected it would feel like plenty of other vibrating cock rings we’ve tried previously around this price point. The pumpkin design would add an extra fun dimension.
Size / Measurements
This Pumpkin Cock Ring measures 1.5 inches / 4cm across unstretched. It will stretch to fit most penis sizes.
Powering Up
As I’ve mentioned, the Pumpkin Cock Ring required 2x AG13 batteries (small cell type) which come with the sex toy. To turn on/off, you just press in the little side switch.
This Halloween Party Pumpkin Vibrating Cock Ring is a single speed cock ring, which is to be expected for the less than £10 price.
During Use
The Halloween Party Pumpkin Vibrating Cock Ring is really easy to use, almost self-explanatory. Just stretch the loop part around the base of his shaft, or around both cock and balls if it fits comfortably. The pumpkin face at the top so it provides clitoral stimulation (during PiV sex).
My partner and I are pretty goth, so we loved the design of this cock ring. It’s quite Pumpkin King –fans of Jack Skellington / Nightmare Before Christmas will know what I mean. We found the Halloween Party Pumpkin Vibrating Cock Ring fun to use because it’s Halloween themed, and would maybe have bought it to spice up the season in a non-traditional way. I doubt we would have bought it simply as a vibrating cock ring, because they’re generally not our thing.
I prefer holding something a bit more rumbly and powerful against my clit during PiV sex. Vibrating cock rings can be both high-frequency buzz which isn’t my favourite style of vibration, and the back and forth movement during sex means I don’t get the constant stim from them that I need.
Sadly, the same was true of this cock ring, as delightful in other ways as the Halloween Party Pumpkin Vibrating Cock Ring is. The design is great, we love that it’s silicone and waterproof. It’s easy to use and comfortable during use. It’s just too buzzy for me to enjoy the vibrations at an orgasmic level, plus I had the usual problem of getting frustrated at the low intermittent vibes rather than a constant growl over my clit.
He enjoyed the Halloween Pumpkin Love Ring. The vibrations travel through the silicone really well, and he’s extremely sensitive to vibrations, which was fun.
Pimped Up Pumpkin
As the vibrating bullet is removable, I had the bright idea to change up the vibrations. The cock ring is simply a silicone ring with a Halloween design, after all –and the space for the weak vibrating bullet will house another style of small vibrator. The gap is pretty small but if I can do it, you can do it.

Summary
Although the Halloween Party Pumpkin Vibrating Cock Ring didn’t do it for me as an orgasmic sex toy, I know this would still be a fun addition to the bedroom for many. It’s worth the price tag just to have a Pumpkin King style cock ring, I reckon. Plus, you can always switch up the vibrator in the gap for it if you fancy (everyone should have a selection of bullet vibrators in their bedside drawer at all times, in my opinion!)
This is a reasonably priced Halloween novelty sex toy which is great fun, and as a bonus it’s waterproof and made from silicone. You also get a free little Shots Media badge –although the ‘S’ could stand for anything you like…
