EXSENS Warming Organic White Peach Flavour Gourmet Massage Oil 50ml Review
By Pleasure Panel reviewer Edger
Massage often forms part of foreplay in our relationship and we are always on the lookout for new massage oils. With a huge number of available options on the market, all promising different sensations, aromas and therapeutic effects, it is important to get the right oil, to make sure that you glide into the right mood, as opposed to getting the wrong one and feeling all, well, tacky. Cara really outdid herself this month, with the number of different massage options available, and I was delighted to test out the EXSENS Warming Organic White Peach Flavour Gourmet Massage Oil from exsens-usa.com for her, to see if it was one to add to our list.
A quick search about the oil before it arrived showed me that this thing really has gone to town on its green credentials. With information from their website saying “Ideal for foreplay with its delicious white peach flavour, this all-natural “massage” gel was specially formulated to take your intimate play to another level. Gentle warming sensation occurs when applied to intimate areas. Go on, take a bite of peach!”, it then went on to boast about the fact that it is made from 100% natural ingredients (of which 94% are organic).
I tend to find that the synthetic chemicals that usually make up these products fall into one of two categories, they smell nice, or they taste nice, but they always seem to fall down on delivering both. So, I was interested to see if the combination of naturally occurring products would do the business in both ways, whilst still delivering on being a great massage oil. I don’t want much, do I!
The EXSENS Warming Organic White Peach Flavour Gourmet Massage Oil itself arrived in quite a pretty and sturdy bottle. Gently decorated with peaches and a clear description of what the product was on the front. The back of the bottle, had loads of information on it, explaining how to use, the ingredients and some brief warnings to keep out of the eyes. The biggest risk of this would be massaging and then rubbing your eyes, all I could thin here was either, nobody will look sexy in a pair of lab specs whilst giving their partner a sensual massage.
The bottle had a convenient pump action lid to deliver the EXSENS Warming Organic White Peach Flavour Gourmet Massage Oil. I found this clean and easy to use, with no spillage at all. The pump did not twist to lock, like some bottles do, however, with a second lid on top, this should not be an issue to prevent and leaks or spillages whilst away stored.
So, the details on the side of the bottle needed a little more inspection, and I read through first, the “Indications for Use” that were listed on the side. The two parts that I felt were most of note were the “mouth to skin contact intensifies the heating effect” which sounded absolutely the best way to heat up both the oil and the massage itself, and secondly “while the oil is edible, it is not a food product”. Important to know that it will not count as one of your five a day, but is still safe to ingest as part of the massage without any fear.
Onto the listed ingredients next, “ingredients: glycerin*, aqua (water), aroma* (flavor), ribodioside A *Ingredients from organic farming.”
It also explains below that the EXSENS Warming Organic White Peach Flavour Gourmet Massage Oil contains Stevia which is a naturally occurring sweetener. It is worth noting that the inclusion of glycerin could potentially be a problem to some, as it is a trigger for some for yeast infections.
Some extra information from the website about the product and its ingredients are worth sharing here, as they list it as “Condom friendly” which is great as it ensures no wasted clean up time after the massage before needing to use a condom, “Non-staining” which is always great. They further go on to explain that the ingredients are “Vegan friendly” with “No Bitter Aftertaste” and most importantly in terms of nasty chemicals, it contains “No parabens” and “No phenoxyethanol”.
All in all, looking down this list of ingredients and what it contains, I felt really confident that the EXSENS Warming Organic White Peach Flavour Gourmet Massage Oil was a naturally occurring, organic product that I would look forward to using, free of the fear that it contains any nasties.
Once opened, I was happy with the consistency of the EXSENS Warming Organic White Peach Flavour Gourmet Massage Oil and it really spread into the skin well during the massage. It was not at all tacky feeling and it had a nice glide to it, more like you would expect from a massage oil and not all slippy like from a lubricant. It kept working well for a good period of time without the need to reapply too often.
The EXSENS Warming Organic White Peach Flavour Gourmet Massage Oil obviously did absorb a little bit into the skin, but with a quick fresh squirt we were away and ready to go again. There was no feeling of irritation from the oil at all and whilst it did not feel to have any real moisturising effect on the skin, it did not have any drying out sensation either, and did its job well as a massage oil. As for the warming sensation, I can honestly say that I did not experience this sensation from it at all. So unless, I am very insensitive to changes in temperature from products like this (which I am not normally) I would say that this was the first let down (even if I did enjoy testing the instruction of mouth to skin to heighten the sensation – alas with no real improvement).
The EXSENS Warming Organic White Peach Flavour Gourmet Massage Oil has a slight aroma to it, however, with all of the beautifully organic and naturally occurring ingredients, it smells pleasantly of the white peach that it promises, and I would describe the aroma as very subtle, you would have to be fairly close to experience it, not at all over bearing. The taste however, is where this oil really won out for me. It is not super intense, however, it is not shy about the white peach and it really does taste nice when it comes into contact with your mouth, not in any way chemically or bitter as massage oils so often are. The natural flavourings that have been used make sure it tastes absolutely like it should. This was a real win for me.
When it came to cleaning up the EXSENS Warming Organic White Peach Flavour Gourmet Massage Oil, I didn’t feel that I needed to be in such a rush as I have felt with other products previously. It did not leave any kind of sticky or tacky feel to my skin so it washed off nicely with some soapy water in my own time frame. As I said previously, I had no issues with sensitivity of reaction with the oil whatsoever.
All in all, I really loved this EXSENS Warming Organic White Peach Flavour Gourmet Massage Oil. It is pleasant to see a product that so confidently share its ingredients, and a real badge of honour from them that they can keep everything so natural and organic. I feel bad to knock it down to only 9/10 as a result of the lack f any real warming sensation for me. Simply put, if I wasn’t expecting the warming (which I didn’t feel) I would have given it 10/10 without any worries.
