I was given the opportunity to review the Doc Johnson Vac-U-Lock Dual Density Experienced Strap-On Set by the Pleasure Panel, run by Cara Sutra – being an avid strap on enthusiast I was delighted to oblige in a fair and honest review of this item.

Initially I thought the strap-on cocks (dildos) in this set would be of a similar nature and feel to many of the others that I already own also made by Doc Johnson, how wrong was I! Read all about my thoughts and genuine delight at this set below.

Packaging

I couldn’t wait to receive this Doc Johnson Vac-U-Lock Dual Density Experienced Strap-On Set in the post. When the day finally came I was surprised at the sheer size of the package that turned up on my door step, perhaps it’s just the packing I thought… eagerly taking off the outer layer I was greeted by the box the set is packaged in, this isn’t any smaller!

The box this set comes in doesn’t disappoint, when paying for a high value set you expect the packaging to live up to high expectations and this certainly did. Glossy, colourful and full of information, I indulged in the outer of this set almost as much as what was inside. A true feast for your eyes giving all the information you could wish for in concise, yet alluring descriptions.

The box itself is cardboard with a glossy and vivid film coating, a simple method of closure makes getting into the box hassle free, no need for scissors.

The overall colour scheme seems to be based around red and white with large images; clear text states both information and descriptions and the logos for the various brands ‘Vac-U-Lock’, ‘ULTRASKYN’ and ‘Doc Johnson’ are clearly placed however not overused on the packaging.

The front of the box shows large images of the contents – 3 different sized dual density cocks (8 inches with balls, 9 inches with balls, and 1 0inches without balls), a Vac-U-Lock harness, 2 Vac-U-Lock attachments (suction cup mounted plug and plug mounted onto a pad with snaps), 3 varying sizes of cock ring, 118 ml water-based lubricant, 118 ml natural toy cleaner, 1 floz Vac-U-Lock powder and 5 g sachet of ‘ULTRASKYN’ refresh powder. Quite the selection. The front of the box also states this set is the ‘experienced’ set, given the sizes of toys included and the many options of use included, I would be inclined to agree with this.

The one side of the Doc Johnson Vac-U-Lock Dual Density Experienced Strap-On Set box contains a clear list of the contents in text format, the other side of the box gives a basic run down as to how to use this set. It gives information on the harness, plug insertion and how to assemble an attachment, all followed by easy to follow diagrams, ideal for those who cannot wait to try this set out.

The back of the box gives plenty of information on the set including another list of the contents linked with pictures and suggested uses, some basic background information on the brand is also mentioned. There are ingredient lists for the lubricant, cleaner and powders as well as directions for use and warnings. Information on how to keep your new toys looking and feeling great is provided, and the vital stats of the different sized cocks are listed in an easily comparable way.

Literally everything that you would need to know is clear and visible on the outer packaging, however just in case that wasn’t enough there is also a paper version of this information and more included inside the box.

The inner packaging of the Doc Johnson Vac-U-Lock Dual Density Experienced Strap-On Set box is just as fantastic as the outer in terms of practicality. The box is separated in two with the smaller items placed at the top of the box, and a divider separating the attachments, each cock is individually wrapped and sealed as is the harness.

In my opinion this packaging is utterly faultless, looks fantastic and couldn’t be any more practical in terms of safety considerations.

Look and ‘feel’ of the Doc Johnson Vac-U-Lock Dual Density Experienced Strap-On Set

After spending literally, the entire morning admiring the box this set came in, I finally got around to having a good look inside… Yet again, I was not in the slightest disappointed!

The aspect that I found most striking about this Doc Johnson Vac-U-Lock Dual Density Experienced Strap-On Set was the dual density cocks. They feel seriously AMAZING – like nothing I have ever felt before. The mixture of the hard core and soft outer layer makes for a super realistic feel and the addition of the ‘ULTRASKYN’ surface only heightens the real feel. These cocks are without a doubt the closest to the real thing that I have ever had the pleasure of squeezing, even the balls feel ultra-realistic with the addition of superficial testes being inserted into the sack. They look, feel, and behave just as a real cock would.

The harness and plug attachments are sturdy, not at all flimsy and are really built to last. The harness consists of material straps in a typical harness set up – a band around the waist and straps coming under your crotch and across your buttocks, a soft pad is secured at the front of the pubic mound (where you wear the attachments), and across the section of band across the lower back. In my opinion whilst the harness is comfortable to wear it is a little too bulky for my liking, the additional padding on the band that comes across your back looks unattractive as do the additional lengths from the adjustable bands around the waist and across the buttocks. The harness Vac-U-Lock attachments fit seamlessly into the O-rings provided and the attachment that includes press studs looks very neat indeed with no need for an O-ring to secure a cock into the harness.

The lubricant and toy cleaner that came in this set look visually appealing and come in easily dispensable bottles, as does the Vac-U-Lock powder. I was a little disheartened to see that the ‘ULTRASKYN’ skin refresh came in a single use tear packet, I guess the top can be clipped for another use however considering this set is of a reasonably high value it would have been nice to see a container that can be stored easily and used again.

I couldn’t wait to use this Doc Johnson Vac-U-Lock Dual Density Experienced Strap-On Set on my willing submissives so, as soon as the opportunity arose I set up my new harness and decided upon my cock of choice!

The harness is easy to adjust, and I quickly achieved a good fit with just a few tugs and tightening of the straps. Once in place I clipped on one of the Vac-U-Lock plug attachments, I chose the one that has press studs and instead of using an O-ring, and easily secured the four attachment points onto the plug. Following the instructions, I powdered up the inner hole of my chosen cock and firmly pushed onto the plug, a secure fit can be achieved with hardly any force as long as you have powdered the insertion hole sufficiently. Voila! I was away… The harness fits a treat and supported me in all the right places and despite only being held on by the plug insertion my cock was going nowhere.

The insertion of my strap-on into my willing bottom was smooth – aided by the water-based lubricant everything slipped in nicely. The insertion of these cocks will take a little getting used to, being so realistic they move and wriggle a little more than some of the harder silicone ones that I have used previously but I do not think this is a flaw at all. The firm core gives the cocks more than enough structure and everyone who has had the pleasure of being fucked by one so far has commented on the highly realistic feel of the dildos. They behave differently when thrusting too, adapting to individual anatomies and moulding to curves and bends like others wouldn’t. I am seriously impressed with the dual density cocks and would highly recommend anyone that is into strap-on or enjoys vaginal fun with realistic cocks to give them a try out, you will not regret it.

I have now tried all three cocks included in this set both with the press stud attachment and the two with balls with a basic O-ring over the cocks and have experienced the same level of ease and trouble free set up each time, the variety of cocks is a great attraction for those who enjoy the varying sensations of length, girth, balls and no balls, this set really does meet all expectations for those who enjoy above average but not extreme insertions.

The only issues that I have experienced whilst using this set is the dismount of the cocks from the Vac-U-Lock plugs – they really do suction on! Its safe to say once they are on, they are not going anywhere in a hurry… After a lot of tugging I finally managed to separate the cock from the plug, after trying this again several times since I really do think that proper application of powder and keeping everything dry whilst setting up helps with both mounting and dismounting.

After use I wash my toys in warm soapy water, thoroughly dry and then apply toy cleaner to ensure everything is bacteria free. Once fully dried I applied a little of the ‘ULTRASKYN’ refresh powder to the cocks to prolong the real skin feel and avoid them feeling tacky as they were starting to after use prior to the fresh application.

Conclusion

My mind is utterly blown with this Doc Johnson Vac-U-Lock Dual Density Experienced Strap-On Set. It encompasses all aspects of strap-on play and really does contain everything you need to safely enjoy play with a well thought out system that actually works.

I have always been a fan of the Vac-U-Lock brand however the dual density range of cocks is a huge step up from the basic offerings. The cocks included in this set are out of this world, and the addition of small things such as a range of cock rings, two different plug attachments and the various powders is really quite something. The versatility of this set is something to be admired and I really would recommend this to those who enjoy the style of play that this set caters towards.
