Packaging

The Doc Johnson Lighten Up Anal Lightener Cream is packaged in well designed bright box – with a yellow and silver colour scheme. The front of the box box depicts the male and female sex symbols, as this product is unisex.

On the back of the box you will find the ingredients, and the directions on how to use it. The directions also recommend that you do a small 24 hour test patch if you have sensitive skin. It also states once desired results are reached continue use as needed.

The Cream

This anal lightening cream claims to help you attain an even natural skin tone, and radiant skin illumination. The cream itself is quite a thick cream, with a smooth texture – the cream has a very faint smell, probably the Aloe Vera.

The box claims it will ‘Brighten your dark spots and reveal your skin’s inner light’. Being naturally dark skin toned around the anus area I was hopeful the Doc Johnson would lighten up the skin in this area.

Formulation

The Doc Johnson Lighten Up Anal Lightener Cream is gentle and formulated with Aloe and Vitamin E. It’s also Hydroquinone-free, Glycol-free, and Paraben-free. Inside the box, the cream is packaged in the a yellow and silver tube, with a flip top cap for easy convenient use. The directions on how to use the cream are also on the back of the tube. The amount of product in the tube is 2oz/56g this is a good amount of cream. Expiry date is 24 months.

Test Patch

Before I used this anal bleaching cream on my intimate area, I did a test patch on my arm – to see if there was any reaction to any of the ingredients. After 24 hours,  I had no reaction to any of the ingredients, so I felt confident to go ahead and use it on my intimate area.

Usage

Before using the Doc Johnson Lighten Up Anal Lightener Cream, you will need to remove silver hygiene seal. This is easily done by unscrewing the flip top cap. The cream is easily dispensed using the convenient flip top cap and by giving the tube a little squeeze. A small drop is of the Lighten-Up cream is all you need, a little goes a long way and this will cover a large area. The cream does need to be massaged in for a few minutes until fully absorbed. Once you’ve finished, the cap closes securely with a click.

I have been using this anal lightening cream twice a day (as recommended) on the skin around my anus for 3 weeks. Although my skin didn’t lighten up, I did see a slight improvement in the skin tone. The skin around this area also felt incredibly soft. It certainly didn’t brighten any dark spots as it claimed on the box.

Summary

Overall, this anal bleaching cream is a great moisturiser, as it did soften my skin – this was more apparent after shaving and using a good quality shaving cream. Sadly, it didn’t Lighten-Up my skin, but did slightly improve my skin tone.

Doc Johnson Lighten Up Anal Lightener Cream Review

I wouldn’t recommend this cream if you want to lighten the skin on you intimate area, as this cream might not meet your expectations. However, if you are looking for a great moisturiser with gentle ingredients the Doc Johnson Lighten Up Anal Lightener Cream is available online and costs £16.95.
