Colt Camouflage Hog Tie Restraint Review

I love a bit of bondage and naughty play and was delighted when I was sent the Colt Camouflage Hog Tie Restraint from Bondara as part of Cara Sutra’s Pleasure Panel.
The Colt Camouflage Hog Tie Restraint arrived in its own lovely A5 sized thick canvas drawstring bag which is brilliant for keeping it all together or packing with other bits for a naughty weekend. The bag feels very army-esque with its rustic string and camouflaged pattern on the thick material bag. The ‘Colt’ logo on the front is smooth and very clear in red which adds to the fun and naughtiness the bag exudes.
Inside the bag, the Colt Camouflage Hog Tie Restraint is held together on a thick cardboard which explains the set is reinforced and the swivel universal clasps are nickel free so they shouldn’t tarnish. It also explains how the cuffs are adjustable to 19 inches, which is 48.25 cm. Reading more on the label it states it’s made by California Exotic Novelties, and there are links to websites for more by Colt as well as it being for ‘adult non-medical pleasure’.
Inside the bag there is further information on how to look after ‘your new sex toy’. The information is rather general as it mentions other toys.
The rings of the Colt Camouflage Hog Tie Restraint are 4 O-rings around a bigger O-ring. The idea is to clip each wrist and ankle to one of the rings. With this set this is really easy and extremely quick. The rings are almost seamless, the joins are smoothed out, which means that they shouldn’t catch any skin or hairs when moving. The rings are attached via a sturdy belt and rivet system; I strained a lot and pulled them many ways, they do not feel like they will come apart easily.
The cuffs of the Colt Camouflage Hog Tie Restraint are all made with that lovely hard army feel but with enough flexibility to for the wrists and ankles. The material is the same as the bag but a bit softer against the skin.
The rings to attach the cuffs are very sturdily stitched on some belt and separated from the actual cuff so less chance of ripping away from the cuffs themselves. On top of the cuff, the Velcro is heavily stitched in over the belt to create a strong bond for those vigorous moments. The Velcro is solid, it’s a bit tough at first to separate the halves but sticks very quickly and easily, which makes the cuffs accessible for quick play and any size and with more use can become a very quick control play scenario.
Inside the cuffs is a smooth leatherette covering which is lovely against the skin, the stitching of the Velcro is inset with some light padding, so it doesn’t rub against the skin or poke any uncomfortable areas. The inside does feel that you can clean it, I used baby wipes, but would use hand washing for continual use as you can not remove the metal.
The cuffs of the Colt Camouflage Hog Tie Restraint set are all one size so you do not have to fiddle and guess which one fits where like some sets. I like the fact that the cuffs can be kept separate or used together on just the wrists or ankles as well as the full hog tie set.
The quick clips on the ends make connecting them together really easy as well as attaching to the rings to create the hog tie. The longer clips allow for a nice and gentle hog tie which is good for those who are inexperienced or want a more gentle style of play, which in my mind goes against the hard army camo vibe.

9/10 for this awesome set; I would have liked to be able to clean the set thoroughly and have some adjustment on the settings of how harsh the hog tie is.
