Bondara Velvet Touch Silicone Vibrating Butt Plug Review
Bondara Velvet Touch Silicone Vibrating Butt Plug review by Duke of Monroth
From the Duchess:
I was so excited to try the Bondara Velvet Touch Silicone Vibrating Butt Plug for two reasons.
- It is the right size with the right stages, and
- It has the beaded rotating feature I loved on an old rabbit vibrator I used to have and the idea of that in my ass drives me wild.
Relatively new to anal penetration, I’m not always sure what I will like back there, but the prospects were exciting. However, ultimately in the end there were only a few positive features to this toy and they certainly do not outweigh the cons.
As a plug with no other features, the Bondara Velvet Touch Silicone Vibrating Butt Plug does its job. The medium size is perfect; at no time did it pinch or feel uncomfortable. The variation in diameter is perfect for penetration at several depths, giving me a rest to relax for more. The feel was comfortable and stimulating. I could easily take its full girth, and in combination with the Duke, it was heavenly.
It seems, however, that there was no cooperation between the design department and the engineers at Bondara because the moving parts are not logically designed and often times do not work.
First, the on/off switch is on the plug itself near the tip, the part that would be in your ass, NOT on the flared end or the remote. Idiotic. When you turn the plug on a red light illuminates, again on the part of the plug that will be in your ass. Once inserted we were excited to start the spinning and vibration patterns.
We tested it before insertion and were really excited. Once it was in and the Duke pressed the remote button nothing happened. At this point the Duke needed to remove it, touch it where it might be dirty to try turning it back on, reinsert it, and hope it worked the next time he pressed the remote button. It didn’t.
Additionally, with lubed up hands and toy this is not easy! This was both a buzz kill (pun intended) and somewhat unsanitary. We tried to use the Bondara Velvet Touch Silicone Vibrating Butt Plug multiple times, and I never got to feel the rotating beads, which I think are placed at exactly the right depth for some epic stimulation! So incredibly disappointing.
So in summary, the people who came up with the concept of the Bondara Velvet Touch Silicone Vibrating Butt Plug and designed the shape get an A+, but anyone who worked on the engineering side gets an F.
I give the Bondara Velvet Touch Silicone Vibrating Butt Plug butt plug a 3/10.
From the Duke:
So much potential, so much disappointment.
Let’s start with the packaging. Nondescript, uninspiring, no pictures, and inside no instructions.
Because I’ve used toys from Bondara before I knew that I needed to pierce the silicone with the charging plug to get it charged up. On previous toys, it claims the silicone is self-sealing, but I have no real confidence in that over the long term.
Also the dimple that you need to pierce to charge is on the side of the plug which will be ultimately be inserted in your ass. Why not put the plug in the flared base that doesn’t come into contact with your insides? The on/off button is also on the side as the Duchess mentioned. Do the engineers have any experience with butt play? That’s a rhetorical question.
I’m no quitter when it comes to reviewing a toy, and I don’t give up easily, so I tried it in my own ass. Same problem, once it is in your ass the remote fails to connect and command the toy. Useless. It ultimately becomes a static plug. A nice shape and size, but not what you pay the extra money for. So disappointing.
The idea is so intriguing, but ultimately it seems like a failed attempt at copying a B-Vibe Rimming Butt Plug. I agree with the Duchess on this one.
