I’m now becoming quite the connoisseur of masturbation sleeves. I’ve tried a variety of different sizes, textures, materials, shapes etc (not electrostim yet though, yikes). Now I know what I do and don’t like from them, I suppose I’ve come to expect certain things from them.
That being said, the Bondara Super Beaded Remote Control Vibrating Masturbator instantly caught my eye in the latest Pleasure Panel round as it has a couple of interesting features which are certainly a novel approach to a classic design.
The Bondara Super Beaded Remote Control Vibrating Masturbator comes in two parts, a transparent blue masturbator and a wired vibrating egg. The masturbator itself comes in a very understated black box bearing only the Bondara logo on the front and a quick paragraph of warnings on the rear. The vibrating egg bullet came in a see-through bag. As the whole package comes in at £14.99, you can’t expect it gift wrapped. Who needs fancy packaging anyway?
Material wise, as there were no pamphlets with either toy I took to the Bondara website to check up on what I was about to stick a part of my body into and how I should prepare and sanitise the toy. On the page for the Bondara Super Beaded Remote Control Vibrating Masturbator it lists the material being simply silicone. If you find the sleeve separately on the same website it is listed as TPE and the beads made of ABS. So now we know what it’s made of, we know to use a good quality water based lubricant with the sleeve. Sorted! As for preparation, the TPE is really sticky, so give it a good wash before use.
To use the Bondara Super Beaded Remote Control Vibrating Masturbator I had read to simply insert the vibrating bullet into the sleeve and use as you normally would. This is where I suddenly felt like I had never used a masturbating sleeve before. There are three holes in the sleeve which are all SUPER tight, front, rear and top where the beads are inserted. Quick look on the Bondara website again and you are meant to insert it in the rear of the sleeve (which on this sleeve is supposed to emulate an anus). So to insert the bullet into the rear make sure you put plenty of lube on as it is a very small hole.
Before all of this though, make sure you have two spare AA batteries to put into the control unit of the bullet as batteries aren’t included! You don’t want to end up ready to rock and roll then suddenly realise the bullet doesn’t work because you didn’t think about batteries.
The sleeve part of the Bondara Super Beaded Remote Control Vibrating Masturbator is a funny looking sleeve, a vibrant blue with a ‘realistic’ vaginal opening on the front and simply a hole on the back which is boasted as an anal point on the website. They maybe could have made both realistic or neither!
The main talking point is the row of five beads which run the length of the sleeve, inserted in this position to stimulate the length of the penis while stroking, it looks fabulous and you would imagine very pleasurable.
The vibrating egg bullet part of the Bondara Super Beaded Remote Control Vibrating Masturbator is as basic as could be, fully made of shiny plastic with a slippery power dial on the control unit which has two settings, on or off. The bullet part is quite heavy and when it gets going it throws out some quite strong vibrations, no qualms there. So how does it work when you put it together I hear you cry??
Not very well at all unfortunately.
My main problem with the design is that it clearly isn’t made as one sex toy, its two toys that have just been put together as one without any testing. The sleeve is 6 inches long with around 5.5 inches of insertable length. The vibrating bullet is 2 inches long. When you put the bullet into the back of the sleeve it leaves you 3.5 inches of insertable length.
That isn’t enough space to stroke back and forth freely at all and the best part of it is, the holes are so tight that you have to have everything really well lubed up, so the inevitable happens as soon as you try to stroke, the bullet comes flying out of the end! As an all in one toy this doesn’t work for me at all, the only way to keep the bullet in is to stay still and try to enjoy the vibrations on the tip of your penis, unfortunately with vibrations I prefer them stronger and not constantly on the meatus.
Keeping the sleeve still on your penis obviously throws up another curveball, which are the stimulating beads which are to be enjoyed with every stroke! Ditch the vibrator, lube up and just use the sleeve is my advice. When stroking with just the sleeve the beads add a really nice stimulation to the shaft, especially if you situate them on the underneath.
Unfortunately, the times I used the sleeve, I couldn’t figure out how to keep the first two beads in, they just kept popping out of the front hole. The internal texture of the sleeve looks like inverse beading and has a very satisfying feeling to it; the material used for the sleeve is very soft but can get a bit floppy when/if you speed up. Bondara definitely didn’t lie when they said the holes were tight as well, I had to re-apply lube a few times during use to keep the friction down.
Surprisingly enough, even without the vibrator and the beads flying out all over the bedroom floor, the orgasms I had were really strong, I think this was a mixture of the remaining beads and the tightness of the hole.
For clean up it’s the good old rinse under warm water, spray off with sex toy cleaner and leave to drip dry. Once dry, if you have some, use some renewing powder, I got some Fleshlight Renewing Powder at the same time so would recommend buying some to keep your super soft sex sleeves tip top when in storage. This will also keep the stickiness of the material to a minimum.
The Bondara Super Beaded Remote Control Vibrating Masturbator is a bit of a mixed bag. I think by the really, really cheap price tag, some of the niggles can be forgiven, and to be fair, you get two decent sex toys for under £15.
The build quality is what you would expect for the price. I have attached a photo of the 4th hole in the sleeve, which I made on my first use of the anal side of the sleeve. The material split as soon as I reached the other side, it hasn’t affected the use of the sleeve mind, and I haven’t noticed it in use once.
Hard one to score I feel, as I’ve had masturbators that have blown my toes off, I would have to give this 5/10.
If you are new to sex toys then for the price you can try two types of toy for next to nothing.
