Bathmate Hydrovibe Hydrotherapy Ring Review

By Tim Cash

A few months ago, I reviewed the Bathmate Original Hercules Hydrotherapy Penis Pump. When I was offered the chance to try out the new Bathmate pump accessory, the Bathmate Hydrovibe Hydrotherapy Ring, I decided that it could be a fun experience!

I did enjoy the Bathmate Hercules penis pump, and used it regularly for about 3 months. I hadn’t used it for a while, but was finding that my penis was a little bigger than it was before, but not as large as when I was using the pump regularly. As I am happy with my size, I didn’t feel the need to spend 15 minutes a day, a few times a week, to increase it.

While using the Bathmate pump by itself isn’t unpleasant, it doesn’t feel particularly stimulating. This is where the Bathmate Hydrovibe Hydrotherapy Ring comes in! The idea is that if you attach a couple of vibrators to the side of the pump, the whole process will be more pleasant. There was also the promise of the pump bringing more rapid growth, through the relaxing effects of the vibrations.

The Bathmate Hydrovibe Hydrotherapy Ring arrived in a rather tasteful box, with a nice modern pattern behind the image of the product.

Opening the box, the actual Hydrovibe seemed very simple. A thick silicone band, designed to fit around a good selection of Bathmate water pumps, 2 oversized bullet vibrators, and the charging cable.

My first impression of the bullets that came with the Bathmate Hydrovibe Hydrotherapy Ring were not brilliant. They did feel rather cheap and plasticy. They should be waterproof according to the documentation, which really needs to be the case when they are to be combined with a water pump.

The tops unscrew to allow access to the charging ports. The bullets plug into a standard USB port and can be left to charge. To control the bullets, there is a power button on the screw-off end.

Before the first use, make sure that you remove the white plastic spacers from around the threading. These are used to ensure that the vibrators do not start up unintentionally whilst in the packaging. If you do not remove them, as I did to begin with, the power buttons barely work. After removing them, control of the vibrators is a lot easier!

After running myself a nice hot bath, and putting the Bathmate Hydrovibe Hydrotherapy Ring together with my Bathmate water pump, I got ready to go! Going slowly as I hadn’t used it for a while, I started pumping. When I started the vibrations on both bullets, I was happy with the feeling. The entire water contents felt like it was vibrating, which was very enjoyable. I did notice that the vibrations relaxed my member, and found that it grew faster than it would have with no vibrations.

The bullets have a good range of pulse options, though I did struggle to get them synced up perfectly. Pushing the buttons in time to select vibrations was a bit tricky, and if the pulses weren’t in perfect time, I did find it a bit distracting. I did prefer the simple vibration options to the pulses, but I did feel that they could do with a little bit more power.

After use, the Bathmate pump and Bathmate Hydrovibe Hydrotherapy Ring dismantled easily, to be cleaned or recharged as necessary. The bullets should hold enough charge for a good few sessions. The Hydrovibe did come with a limited edition pouch to keep it safe.

The Bathmate Hydrovibe Hydrotherapy Ring does come with a few medical promises, such as increased hormone release, relaxation, and lymphatic circulation, which I cannot comment on with a lack of medical training, though a quick internet search does bring up various studies to support these claims.

Conclusion

Bathmate Hydrovibe Hydrotherapy Ring Review

I found that the Bathmate Hydrovibe Hydrotherapy Ring does add a good degree of enjoyment to the Bathmate pump. I would have preferred a little bit more power to the highest setting, and possibly a single button to control both vibrators, but if you are using a Bathmate pump anyway, then I would recommend considering adding some vibrations to your bath-time fun!
