Annabelle Knight Wowee Powerful Clitoral Vibrator Review

I was lucky enough to be selected to review the Annabelle Knight Wowee Powerful Clitoral Vibrator from Lovehoney as part of the Pleasure Panel.

My delivery arrived promptly in an unidentifiable brown jiffy bag. Upon opening, the Clitoral Vibrator is packaged in a lovely purple and black box with a black and white line drawing of a long-haired lady. While it does state that it is a clitoral vibrator on the packaging, it doesn’t immediately scream sex toy.
The packaging also contains information about Annabelle and her background as Lovehoney’s resident sex toy expert. Which I thought was a lovely touch.
The packaging also informs me that the Clitoral Vibrator is petite for portability, has a graduating multi-speed function and is firm with a velvety feel.
Inside the packaging, the Clitoral Vibrator is nestled in moulded plastic to prevent damage in transit and it has a small tri-fold instruction booklet.
The Annabelle Knight Wowee Powerful Clitoral Vibrator is manufactured from PU-coated ABS plastic, is 100% waterproof and is battery operated.
Putting the single AA battery in was a bit of a challenge, the battery compartment at the base of the clitoral vibrator removes with a simple quarter twist and the battery should just pop in the inner channel of the vibrator, but, inside the Wowee is a small plastic cylinder which isn’t actually fixed in place so it came loose and I originally thought this was part of the packaging so removed it completely and popped the battery in. This did not work, so I replaced the plastic cylinder and put the battery back in. This time the Wowee was happy to be turned on.
Turning on the Clitoral Vibrator involved twisting the black base slightly, twisting the base further increases the speed.
First thoughts were that this is quite a powerful vibrator considering it is powered by a single AA battery and admittedly the battery that I used was a cheap no-name branded battery.
It is not overly noisy even on the highest setting, when used under a duvet with the bedroom door closed it was barely noticeable from outside the bedroom door.
Before I get on to how the Clitoral Vibrator performed, I will give you all a quick run down on its appearance.
The Wowee Clitoral Vibrator designed by Annabelle Knight for Lovehoney is bright purple in colour with a band of silver around the base so you can see where the vibrator comes apart to reveal the battery compartment. As mentioned earlier, the operating functions of the Wowee is a twisting mechanism at the bottom of the vibrator.
The shaft of the Annabelle Knight Wowee Powerful Clitoral Vibrator is slightly wavy, these waves won’t be noticeable when used clitorally but as this is a fairly long clitoral vibrator (4” of which approximately 3” are insertable), it can be used vaginally so these waves will come into there own once it is used internally.
The packaging advises that water-based lubricants should be used with this product, so I popped a few drops of my Spurt lubricant onto both myself and the Clitoral Vibrator and got myself comfortable.
The first issue that I had was turning on the Wowee, the twisting part is completely smooth and has no grooved to assist with grip, with lube all over my fingers it was really difficult to twist the base to get it to turn on and during use, this became rather frustrating. At one point I had to stop what I was doing and wipe my hands and the Wowee to enable me to turn up the speed – this spoiled the mood slightly.
Orgasm wise, clitorally on a high speed I was able to reach orgasm fairly easily but with the lower speeds it was very much a warm up vibe.
Internally, the steady vibrations travelled well, and the wavy design of the Annabelle Knight Wowee Powerful Clitoral Vibrator did add to the sensations, though I wasn’t able to reach orgasms when used internally, that was mainly because I am a bit of a size-queen and Wowee Clitoral Vibrator is not very girthy.
I believe the Clitoral Vibrator is ideal for beginners or intermediates to clitoral stimulation and it performs very well, once you manage to get the right amount of twisting action on the base.
I did enjoy the Wowee Clitoral Vibrator and was pleasantly surprised by its power, it is a fun design and a lovely bright colour, the only downside is the operating functions, the twisty part is just not grippy enough and caused more pain than pleasure.
Annabelle, please consider push button operating for your next sex toy creation or add some form of grip to the twisting mechanism.
I would recommend the Annabelle Knight Wowee Powerful Clitoral Vibrator as the vibrations are strong, it can be used internally (vaginal only please, the Wowee doesn’t have a flared base) and offers pin-point stimulation on the clitoris and labia. I would just recommend lubing up first and then wiping any residue from your hands if you want to alter the vibrations once in use.
I rate the Annabelle Knight Wowee Powerful Clitoral Vibrator 8/10.
