Aneros Helix Trident Prostate Massager Review
Review of the Aneros Helix Trident Prostate Massager by Kurosakikun
I have tried many prostate massagers over the past few years, some amazing, some not so. A name that always appears when discussing favourite or top quality prostate massagers (non vibrating) is Aneros. I’ve put my name forward to review one many times, now I’ve luckily had the chance to try one!
The Aneros Helix Trident Prostate Massager arrives in a nicely designed box with various embossed designs featuring the Helix. After popping open the top the sleek insert holding the massager is very thoughtfully put together, magnets hold the flaps together and once opened reveal a user guide and the g-spot stimulator encased in its own plastic bed. All very nice to look at!
According to the packaging;
“The Trident series combines the world famous profiles of our original line of products with our very newest design innovations”
…which is an important point that this version of the Aneros is an upgraded model of the original! There is lots of additional blurb on the rear of the box which lets you know all the core principles of the product. The included user guide gives you an in depth description of how to use the Aneros Helix Trident Prostate Massager, with additional pictures! In the user guide you are helpfully shown that the two tabs on the handle of the Helix are called the Perineum Tab and the Kundalini tab, so you know exactly where to position them.
To release the snow white massager from its beautiful storage box you just need a firm pull to pop it out. I was surprised how hard the Aneros Helix Trident Prostate Massager is and also thought it looks very petite.
Measuring up at 4 inches of insertable length (4.3 inches overall) and 3 inches circumference at its largest, it’s certainly not the biggest massager I have tried, but as they say, it’s not the size of the boat!
The Aneros Helix Trident Prostate Massager is made out of, simply put, hard plastic. There’s no give or flex to it and it seems to be very well made, there would appear to be no chance of breaking it and best of all, there is no seam that will irritate your most sensitive of skin areas! I won’t mention the awful cheap anal beads I once had the displeasure of trying out with a huge almighty seam down the middle. Anyhow, Aneros have made sure this toy is super smooth for easier insertion and comfort. They also recommend use for new to intermediate users, which looking at the size and girth I would completely agree with.
Using the Aneros Helix Trident Prostate Massager couldn’t be any easier; wash beforehand with warm soapy water and a good old dollop of good quality oil based anal lubricant will do you no harm and make insertion and removal as smooth as silk. I found the Helix popped in quite easily and shot itself into position with little help from me, it is contoured to suit the body as comfortably as possible and sit with its oversized head directly on your prostate, which once it was in I found to be spot on (pun completely intended).
To get the massager massaging, you are instructed to contract and relax your sphincter muscles, which I am assuming is the same exercise as doing kegel exercises. I found this to be difficult to get into a pattern and continue with decent strength, I would imagine that doing kegel exercises would make this whole experience a lot easier.
Having a bit of experience with prostate massage now, I didn’t find the manual muscle contraction massage was firm enough for me; I also like to feel ‘fuller’ when using a prostate toy, the more pressure on my prostate the better. There were certainly no complaints from my prostate when using the Aneros Helix Trident Prostate Massager though, it was perfectly pleasant enough, but the sensations were mild.
The resulting orgasms have been good, but again, other more forceful p-spot toys have really ramped up my orgasms, in strength and ejaculate quantity. The two tabs on the handle to stimulate the perineum and the Kundalini were equally non-existent for me. If you have read any of my previous reviews, I have never found a toy that my body enjoys having these points rubbed or pressed, I’m just not wired up for those sensations unfortunately. If you are though, these tabs will do it for you, they are very pronounced and look like they will deliver pin point pressure where needed.
The Aneros Helix Trident Prostate Massager user guide says for perfection not to use any manual pressure on the product, just muscle contraction, but I found that I could only get the desired pressure by applying some elbow grease; perhaps my sphincter muscles aren’t strong enough for this toy.
For cleanup, the material of hard plastic used on the Aneros Helix Trident Prostate Massager makes this really easy, you just need to use some nice warm soapy water and once cleaned off give it a spritz with some quality antibacterial sex toy cleaner then leave to drip dry. I did, however find that the tabs on the bottom of the Aneros to be really useful for hanging the toy up for drying, they are perfect for hooking around the towel rail! Storage is equally great as you can pop it back in its little plastic home and store away safely.
Overall, the Aneros is a great prostate massager, and I would imagine that if this had been one I had tried earlier in my anal adventures I probably would have fallen in love with it. It is constructed very well like a top end toy, you can feel it will last a lifetime, and a lot of thought has gone into its comfortable design. Just because my body like something a bit different doesn’t make the Aneros Helix Trident Prostate Massager a bad toy, I kinda like its slimline appeal, sometimes I fancy a quick anal session but don’t want to break out the big boys. I haven’t tried but I imagine it will be a great prostate massager to use while having sex with a partner.
I think the Aneros Helix Trident Prostate Massager deserves a decent 7 out of 10, as it just didn’t quite light the firework for me this time.
