Adrien Lastic Butch Cassidy Rabbit Vibrator Review

By Random Red Rose

I have to admit that the Adrien Lastic Butch Cassidy Rabbit Vibrator was not the most exciting looking item in April’s Pleasure Panel round.  I love a rabbit vibrator though, so I held my hand up as high as possible when volunteering.  Like a child that knows they have the correct answer in class.  My excitement and urgency evident in my almost begging manner.  The sex toy fairy, more commonly known as Cara Sutra, saw the look of longing in my reply and magically it appeared before me.

What has being a sex toy reviewer done to me?  Well, it’s made me very picky and a little spoilt.  I want a lot of features in a toy.  I want it to be waterproof…not that I will use this feature often.  My material of preference is silicone.  I want it to be rechargeable.  Whisper quiet?  Hell yes!  This is a key, must-have feature in my busy household.  I also want my vibrators to do their job.  I want mind blowing, knee trembling, eye rolling, oh…oh…oooooooh…my…god orgasms.  Any colour other than pink is preferred.  See, I am completely, totally, bloody demanding.

Toy Overview

Adrien Lastic Butch Cassidy Rabbit Vibrator Review

The Adrien Lastic Butch Cassidy Rabbit Vibrator doesn’t actually advertise many of these qualities.  It is made from silicone and ABS plastic.  It’s splashproof, whisper quiet, has two motors and requires 4xAAA batteries.  Why did I want it so badly then?  As a girl of very, very limited funds, I found the reasonable price tag on this vibrator very appealing.  I want to convince myself and everyone else out there that interesting, enjoyable, safe and bloody good vibrators exist for everyone.  Not just the supremely wealthy.  Plus it’s a rabbit vibrator.  Dual stimulation!  I can’t possibly resist that.  There’s even attachments to this little bunny.

What’s It Like?

Adrien Lastic Butch Cassidy Rabbit Vibrator Review

The Adrien Lastic Butch Cassidy Rabbit Vibrator comes in a rather simple, white lift up lid, box with a sleeve which features a picture of the product on the front. On the back it lists the features and when you open the box everything is very neatly placed in a foam insert.   Under the insert is a leaflet advertising other Adrien Lastic products, an instruction leaflet, the vibrator plus attachments and some lube.  There is also a 2 year warranty card and a white satin storage bag.

I took the rabbit out of the box and the first thing I noticed was how smooth the silicone felt.  It’s absolutely flawless.  The shaft has some flexibility to it and the attachments are, well, they’re freaky looking.  These are not little bunny faces.  These are the faces of aliens.  This is the Adrien Lastic Alien Vibe.

Before Play

To insert the batteries was a little taxing on my brain.  You unscrew the bottom and are faced with a square bottomed screwed base.  After tipping it up ad shaking it the battery compartment does slide out.  I did worry for a second that I’d have to run and find a tiny screw driver.  Once the base is screwed back on, and you’ve chosen your alien clit nuzzler, you just have to press the power button.  When it starts it is on a pattern.  I would have preferred to have it start on a constant and then have the patterns.  To change the patterns you just press the ‘F’ button.  Once you find one you like you can then increase ‘+’ or decrease ‘-‘ the speed/intensity with the appropriate buttons.  I liked the placement of the buttons, they felt easy to use once I knew which one did what.

During Play

Adrien Lastic Butch Cassidy Rabbit Vibrator Review

This Adrien Lastic Butch Cassidy Rabbit Vibrator is very quiet, very much on the buzzy side of the buzzy/rumbly scale and did in fact tickle a lot on the higher settings.  This was not the best sort of tickling this was a sort of tickle that nearly had you peeing with laughter.  On the lower setting I did orgasm though. Despite this I have to admit that as much as I want to love this, very affordable toy, I don’t.  It’s pink, it’s weird to look at, it’s buzzy and it is just never going to be the one I reach for.

The Adrien Lastic Butch Cassidy Rabbit Vibrator does have some redeeming qualities.  The interchangeable heads are a brilliant idea.  They can be twisted and adjusted easily.   You can have a smooth head providing a generally broad stimulation area.  A single tickler which you can position wherever feels best or a double tickler that can be positioned on either side of the clitoris.

Conclusion

Adrien Lastic Butch Cassidy Rabbit Vibrator Review

The search for my perfect, affordable vibrator continues.  I’d give the Adrien Lastic Butch Cassidy Rabbit Vibrator a score of 5/10.
