I have been given the opportunity to review the Sliquid Swirl Blackberry Fig Lube (from sextoys.co.uk) by the Pleasure Panel, run and organised by Cara Sutra. Boasting an upmarket and unusual flavour I was looking forward to testing this water based lubricant out.
The Wicked Sensual Care Pink Lemonade Water Based Lube from Simply Pleasure is described as water-based lubricant for pleasure seekers who love flavoured fun and I find this to be pretty accurate and spot on for this product. This lubricant is designed to make oral just that little bit tastier and sweeter without leaving a after taste.
The Sutherland Lubricating Jelly (available from Amazon) is a plain, no smell, sterile water-based lubricant. This is designed for vaginal, surgical or gynaecological procedures. With regards to the sex toy world this can be good for people who have an allergy to lubricants with flavours and scents or for people who use medical toys like speculums etc.
I had the pleasure of testing out numerous different lubricants, all of different kinds and flavours. Each lubricant in this selection of Ann Summers Essentials And Sex Lubes from Ann Summers had its own textures and feels, each had their own pros and cons.
Described as being a super thick water-based lubricant that is also free from parabens and glycerin we couldn’t wait to take the Wicked Sensual Care Toy Love Water Based Lubricant from Simply Pleasure for a spin. Would it be that illusive thick but not tacky lubricant, or are we letting ourselves in for some gloopy jelly…
A little back story this System JO H2O Lube Cotton Candy Flavoured Lube (available from Simply Pleasure) is what kind of attracted me to it in the first place -as I thought it was such a lovely idea. Its history is described as nostalgic to the 1904 when candy floss was first invented at a fair and gives you a very romantic idea especially the year and era it is based on which really gave the product it self a bit of story almost.
Always on the lookout for decent water based lubricants, especially those that come in pump bottles, so how did the Kinx Aqua Slix Water Based Lubricant from Simply Pleasure fare?
We tested Pjur Aqua Waterbased Lubricant for the Cara Sutra Pleasure Panel. We always use water based lube, due to it being so versatile, and not being a risk to our precious silicone toys. This lubricant is significantly more pricey than our usual lubricant, so we had high hopes for it.
Lubrication made for fisting! What’s not to like about this. We were delighted this month that the lovely Cara Sutra sent us the Bondara Essentials Fisting Lubricant from Bondara.co.uk in exchange for an honest review.
He has been loving the masturbation creams that he reviewed for previous Pleasure Panel rounds but still wanted something that was strictly water-based to use with his silicone masturbators and vibrators. I spotted that the System JO For Him H2O Gel Water Based Personal Lubricant was on offer in the latest round so put him forward and was happily selected to give it a test drive.
We can never understand when someone does not have a supply on hand. Silicone lube is new for us though. We started with and have yet to deviate from water-based products. When we were asked to review the System JO Premium Jelly Silicone Based Personal Lubricant for this month's Pleasure Panel, we were more than thrilled.
I really enjoyed the use of the Bondara Essentials Cooling Tingling Lubricant, the overwhelming senses did lead to a brilliant orgasm and boy does the cooling hanging around for a long time – the smell is very strong, it’s quite medicinal, normally I’d be all over this lube as it has menthol in it but it does honk and the intense feelings are a fine line between enjoyment and pain but overall if it didn’t have glycerine in it, I’d rate this lube quite high.
I received the Bondara Essentials Anal Relax Lubricant from Bondara via the Pleasure Panel for an open and honest review.
I have used both water-based and silicone-based lubricants and gels when masturbating or playing with sex toys in the past. I have never had the opportunity to try a cream so I raised my hand when Cara put out the call for a reviewer to volunteer for the Give Lube #Selfie Masturbation Cream.
Well, let’s first admit I am really into kissable/edible sex essentials, not only lube but also massage oils, body paint, flavoured lip glosses and clitoral balms. Not only because I’m blatantly someone who REALLY loves food – and sweet food, sadly, is on the top ten of my favourites – but also because I feel they really bring new sensations to sex...
I was too curious to try this Bondara Essentials Spunk Lubricant! Since my guy lives in another city because of his work, I have definitely experienced what “I crave a good old facial and I just cannot have it right now” means; also, having some (fake) jizz always ready for some torrid bukkake play on Skype seemed a fun and stimulating idea. In this kind of situations, after all, play and creativity are the only things that help you survive the relationship I’m afraid :)
My girlfriend gives great massages (I know. I lucked out.) My girlfriend also loves salted caramel with the burning passion of one thousand suns. So when we saw that the Pleasure Panel had AMOREMEO Salted Caramel Kissable Massage Gel available for review, we had to jump on that. Thanks, Cara, for sending it to us!
I own a ton of water-based lubes. I use silicone toys a lot, so they’re pretty much essential. But one of my biggest issues with water-based lubes is that most of them are so very runny. I’m notoriously clumsy, and lubing up a toy always ends with my hands all sticky and a small puddle of lube on the bed-sheets. Consequently, I always seek out the thicker lubes: they make so much less of a mess.
