Datex

Before being sent this Insistline Datex Red Vest (in Medium) for review, I'd never even heard of datex material. I thought everyone must be confusing it with latex, which I've most definitely heard of! But yes, datex is most definitely a real material. It's very similar to latex, with a few important and awesome differences. We'll get to those in a little while.
