Examples include: only wanting to have sex with someone I'm in a relationship with; only ever having watched softcore porn; thinking BD/SM was never done; having to be in love to have sex; many others - all of which have changed since I started blogging (ahem). However, other things I was into, which I never heard anyone else mentioning, included caring about contraception, sex education, feelings and emotions; concentration on the female orgasm; questions, answers, and talking; the spiritual side; the humorous side; the realisation that everyone is different; many more others - all of which, I think, still persist as very important!
Property Of Potter rates highly on my list of amazing bloggers. She is one of the few bloggers that I've had the privilege to meet in real life and she is amazing. Lori from Kink, etc is awesome as well. I have loved watching her grow as a blogger and come out of the darkness of her former lifestyle.
This week’s sex blogger in the spotlight is Cammies on the Floor who has already featured at Cara Sutra this week for the more eagle-eyed amongst you. I feel as if that since last year when I started using sex toys for the first time, I've become more body confident and learned a lot about myself. Some people say they're just sex toys but to me they've helped me a lot and I feel less insecure about myself nowadays because of that.
I have managed to embarrass myself on numerous occasions, but after some initial cringing, I can laugh about it. In the past year I have managed to: Post pictures of giant Bad Dragon dildos to my personal Facebook account Invite my readers to “enter me” (Thanks Cara for spotting that one!) Referred to someone as though they were male, for about a month before realising this person was actually female. Used the word “vagina” when talking about the vulva. (“Shave your vagina”) Fail!
Changing Views was started to give me a place to post my erotic fiction and poetry and help me explore my kinky side, which for years I had repressed and struggled with. I write about my kinky adventures and muse generally upon sex, kink and relationships. Into the mix I also throw some erotic photography and the occasional sex toy review. It's very much a personal blog, I don't pretend to have answers for everybody but I am looking for them for myself.

I mean most people have sex toys now, so it’s not really anything to be embarrassed about, but as a sex blogger you all know, we have more than the average amount of sex toys. His face at first started in amusement. Where you know he’s thinking ‘oh look I found a dildo’ he then found another and another. Storage bags filled with glass dildos, at that time I had over 20 glass dildos, and he had to pull each one out of its protective bag, and then the vibrators, the chest with the bondage gear, floggers, whips, and cuffs. I really don’t know if he knew what expression he thought he should be expressing on his face at that point. The poor guy had over 5 chests to go through.
This week's blogger feature shines the spotlight on Screw Taboo, and you can find their sex blog here. Screw Taboo is also one of the fantastic Pleasure Panel reviewers.
Having just celebrated my first year of sex blogging and toy reviewing I thought I should put pen to paper (in the digital sense) to give everyone a little information about who I am, what I like doing and what I hope to achieve with my little part of the internet: Sex Machine Reviews.
Hi, I'm Charlie and I blog over at Charlie in the Pool. When I first started out my blog was more of a dating blog but over time it has morphed into some completely different. Now it's a mixture of sexual anecdotes, my sexual fantasies, sex toy reviews, erotic fiction and quite a few pictures of my boobs. What's your blog name/online handle and how did you come up with it? I needed a suitable pseudonym for setting up my blog and decided on the name Charlie because that was my cats name and I've always liked it. The "In The Pool" comes from the fact I live in Liverpool, which is sometimes called The Pool by locals.
My fiance and I were in a long distance relationship for two separated years at the beginning of our relationship, and I joined a site called Sex Forums initially looking for ideas to try to make our sex life a little more exciting. My fiance has always been shy when it comes to talking about sex, and we didn't have much phone sex because getting started was awkward, so I was looking for other things we could try. I started a blog on Sex Forums and began writing sex toy reviews as a hobby, and while it took several years, that blog turned into a WordPress blog with my own domain. I'm very much a newbie, but I've already learned a lot and continue to do plenty of research.
So the blog is called The Big Gay Review and I really wish there was a ‘hilarious’ anecdote to go with why I called the blog that – but the reality is, I thought it would be funny. I was thinking about things like ‘My Big Fat Greek Wedding’ and basically thought ‘Let’s just call it what it is – it’s a review blog written by a big gay!’. And that’s honest to the dildo gods the reason behind the name.
This week's featured sex blogger is none other than the fabulous Little Switch Bitch, who writes fantastic sex toy reviews and other articles at her own sex blog and is a regular and wonderful participant in the Pleasure Panel guest reviewing community here at CaraSutra.
This week it’s Jerusalem Mortimer in our sex blogger spotlight – who is one of those seemingly rare creatures: a male sex blogger. Not only a male sex blogger, but a Dom who loves to write about his BDSM interests on his fascinating sex blog...
