By crimescene: Cara kindly selected me to review the Durex Play 2in1 Massage Gel as part of the Pleasure Panel. I was really excited about this product as I have often seen it in shops and have been intrigued by it. I'm not sure if that's because it's not only a lube but also a massage gel and contains aloe vera, or if it's just because it's purple! Either way, I was chuffed to be able to finally try it.
By Just Starting Out: Well, this isn’t the first time we’ve come across this type of product having spotted similar items on the shelf of local Tesco a few years ago, then, curiosity got the better of us and is probably one of the reasons that we are “here” now but let’s talk about the review piece itself.
By FesureMaybe: I had the very lucky pleasure of receiving the Durex Real Feel Condoms to review on behalf of Cara Sutra! I'm not one for condoms usually as I use the usual excuse of it doesn’t feel the same, it’s a passion killer etc but I was pleasantly surprised by these. Was definitely needed due to a new sexual partner so safety first of prevention of STIs and all that and we both thoroughly enjoyed using them.
By CaptainMeow: First off, I’d like to thank Cara for sending me this lubricant to try in exchange for my honest review. The Durex Play Feel Water Based Lube is part of the Durex Play range and comes without any fancy packaging. It is meant to be a new formula, but neither this nor the older bottle come with ingredients listed and Durex did not list ingredients on their website.
By Chili Crimescene I was given the Durex XL Power Condoms (also known as Durex Comfort XL Condoms) by Cara Sutra in exchange for an honest review. In advance I asked her whether the XL Power was referring to performance or size. It refers to size, which is good for my partner as he is on the large size and prefers to use larger condoms.
By Lightweight Toucan he Durex Performa Delay Condoms are for increasing longevity for him. The package promises a slight numbing sensation, and it certainly delivers. Putting on the condom is a breeze, and doesn't roll up at any time during our play.
By Carnal Queen I think we’ve probably all just about recovered from the over-indulgences of Christmas, but you might still be at the stage where you’d wanna punch me for flaunting chocolate selection boxes in your face. I know, I get it, we’re in a new year, resolutions and all that jazz! Have no fear though, this is a totally different kind of sweet selection box made by Durex for Valentine’s Day, and it’s aptly named the Durex Sexlection Box...
By Little Switch Bitch It’s usually a given to receive chocolates on Valentine’s Day, so I’m guessing that what Durex got their packaging idea from. Other than Durex splashed across the front of it, the box is really pretty and shall be recycled to store cock rings/nipple clamps and other little fiddly bits, as it’s got a strong magnetic lid. Loads of thought has gone into the box and it’s kinda sad that I love it more than the contents.
By Scandarella Confession time: I’m a 35 year old woman and had never used a Durex product in my life before this month. The very word ‘Durex’ has always reminded me of two things: the dirty jokes my older cousins would tell when I was a kid – none of which I understood – and the realisation in my early teens of exactly what those jokes meant, and therefore what those Durex things in my parent’s bedroom were actually for.
By Chili / CrimeScene The packaging is pretty basic and despite not being one for the colour pink, I couldn't help but find the metallic sheen on the box, attractive. It comes in a plastic sleeve with user manual. The box isn't resealable but with the sleeve, it's enough to store the bullet safely. The bullet itself is very pleasant to look at and feels wonderful. It's silky to touch, and the rounded edges give it a rather modern look. I was extremely surprised at how powerful it was! Having used bullets in the past and been rather let down, I expected this one to be no better. I figured all bullets were the same and just didn't do it for me. However, this one is pretty powerful and despite having only one speed, it gives you the option to create a rhythm to your liking by simply gently pressing the button in and holding (for permanent vibration you press it until it clicks).
By McBitchyTits / big kinky bbw I really like how the bottles fit together its cute and puts thoughts of bodies fitting together to mind. The cap on the bottles seems loose on mine and doesn’t fasten well I must admit this concerns me mildly as I think if it leaked but on the whole I find it easy to dispense the product when my mind is other wise engaged I always end up with more than I wanted on my fingers.
By McBitchyTits / big kinky bbw We decided not to read the packaging or anything before trying these as we might concentrate on those aspects we just wanted to feel. At first glance the packaging is a standard box with stunning pearlised/iridescent green as the main colour. Packaging was easy enough to open and it was a ten pack so plenty of back up, the usual foil packets and they were in strips of two so again easy to use in the heat of the moment although myself I prefer single foils not strips but this is just personal preference.
By Chelsey Wood The Durex Play Touch Finger Vibrator was a completely new thing too both me and my OH. Yes, we've used your standard dildo and experimented with love balls but this was in a league of its own. Small enough to fit in your pocket or purse and not at all obvious looking was the first impressions I had after opening the packaging. It is around 5cm long and fits directly onto the tip of your finger providing clitoral stimulation and has a soft, jelly like feel. This is the sort of thing you can sneak into your handbag while on a date with your OH to give them a nice surprise after your main course.
Gels and lubes are what Durex do best, in my opinion. You can read my other Durex lubes and sex toys reviews here. I can safely say that the Embrace gels do as they say on the labels. It just takes a dot of gel to give the desired effects. The warming gel starts working within a second or two, gently warming the area you've applied it to. The tingling gel takes a little longer and works best after blowing lightly on the area too.
Durex Play Aloe Vera Lube The Aloe Vera Lubricant was provided to me free of charge by Durex in exchange for an honest review. The ingredients...
The surface of the Dream *does* feel lovely, it's a velvety silicone which works very well with water based lubricant. It's also phthalates free. You could use the bulbous shape of this vibrator as a dildo which would negate the need for it to have any vibrating power at all -
