If you are an erotic writer looking for promotion of your catalogue of books or a new release in particular, there are other ways I can help you. There is the Erotic Author Spotlight Series where you get a dedicated post about you and your published works, as well as the opportunity to have your books reviewed by the Pleasure Panel. There is no charge for either of these options for published erotic authors. Please contact me to find out how to arrange. On a similar note I run the Sex Blogger Spotlight Series for those with an adult related or sex toy review blog (only those without an associated sex toy shop or commercial business attached to it).
If there’s a subject relating to adult industry news you’d like to see me writing about here, do let me know and I will do my best to fit it into my writing schedule.
Time for a bit of bondage – as you do in the office on Friday afternoons (don’t you? Just me then) – and resident photographer Loryn was roped in as our *ahem* willing and enthusiastic volunteer. Mistress Victoria and I really enjoyed tying him up in a Shibari rope harness while plenty of photographs were taken. Taking advantage of his predicament I brandished and wielded the whip yet again. I’m going to get a reputation at this rate.
Sexhibition 2015 was a memorable experience, for various reasons. The erotic event of the year took place at Event City Manchester, which is right by the Trafford Centre, and promised to bring together adult industry exhibitors, porn stars and other adult entertainers in one glamorous, spectacular event.
During the weekend, some amazing people were promoting electro sex toys, with none other than Linsey Dawn McKenzie stopping by for an ElectraStim demo. The fantastic Anna Quinn and Ruby Derriere were running rampant with an ElectraStim paddle and pinwheel while the breath-taking Goddess Sophia picked up an electro strap-on and spanking paddle for use in her dungeon, which she was trying out on TV Goth Natalie on some of the bondage furniture.
Our driver drove my partner Sable and I down to the hotel early Thursday evening. Our hotel, The Mercure, is a beautiful Victorian property overlooking the sea. We had an upgraded, seaview room and once we arrived we settled in immediately. It was late after the long drive from Lincolnshire to the south coast so after a much-needed shared bottle of wine from room service we slept soundly.

This week has been more hectic than stressful than any I can remember in recent years. As a person who works with the adult retail sector across many levels, I have been hit hard by the recent uproar in sex tech patent trolling. If you haven’t caught the story, a US patent filed in 1998 is set to shake up the sex toy world thanks to its obscure and frankly ridiculous patenting of any sex toy that stimulates remotely using a digital signal.
Whether you’re a business or a blogger, I hope you’ll take a look at my new initiative. It’s called the Pleasure Panel and it’s been created to bring even more adult product reviews to CaraSutra.com.

If you know me as a woman who writes about sex & relationships and engages in a spot of modelling, you may not know that the majority of my income comes from the eCommerce industry. A big slice of that is running the digital marketing strategy and completing the requisite work to execute it.

When we talk about safe sex, road traffic accidents don’t usually come high up on the ‘must-mention’ list. One very foolish woman from Cirencester is out to change that with what has to be one of the most ridiculous sex-related stories in the news this year.
It’s over a week since I returned from the annual ETO Show at Birmingham’s NEC and I don’t think I’ve come back to earth just yet. As usual, the ETO Magazine team put on a spectacular adult industry trade show, with a gala dinner and awards presentation in the middle of the two days to celebrate the best in the biz.

Working in the adult retail sector is super-happy fun times and most people working in the industry have full-time contracts or their own company, so as a freelancer you feel somewhat disconnected from everyone. It’s therefore unusual to form a bond with anyone who isn’t your client. You know and like lots of folk, but there’s never any real time to forge friendships.
