Puspus Girl is a regular reviewer for the Pleasure Panel, but did you know she also writes at her own blog? This week the sex blogger spotlight shines on this lovely lady from Finland. Find out why Puspus started her sex blog, what inspires and motivates her, as well as some of her favourite sex bloggers & sex toys too.
Over to you, Puspus Girl!
I am a Scandinavian girl who was born in the mid 90´s and I have grown up to be a very curious life loving sex geek. A enthusiastic, kinky, queer-ish feminist passionately exploring the interesting wonders of this crazy thing called life.
I love, collect, test and review sexual health products, mainly sex toys.
My dream is to live to over 100 years old and have adventured around the world, been deeply and passionately in love, own a house full of sex toys and just simply live a beautiful and fulfilled life that impacts people around me in an inspiring, genuine and loving way.
Q&A with Puspus Girl
I blog at Puspus Girl and you can find my blog here. Puspus Girl, in my language pus pus means “kiss kiss” and I am a girl. I thought this name would be memorable and sweet.
Which country do you live in?
Finland, Europe. We have Santa, the Northern Lights and the best education system.
Approximately how long have you been sex blogging?
Just a couple of months, but I have been reviewing products for 1.5 years.
Why did you start a sex blog or reviewing sex toys?
I love sexuality – I am a total sex geek! I believe there’s no such thing as too much sex positivity, so I wanted to create something for my own and be a voice in the world.
What’s your favourite thing about blogging?
Blogging and writing makes me think deeper about my opinions and thoughts around sexuality, sex, politics, psychology. I love the community and people. Also, I love that this is a space where sex and masturbation and pleasure is celebrated. Finally, I love to be able to grow my sex toy collection.
Do you use social media? If so, where can we find you?
Do your friends know you’re a sex blogger?
Yes, some closest family and friends know. And they have been very encouraging and happý for me and proud of me.
Have you ever done anything specifically so you can blog about it afterwards?
Yes and no. Blogging has encouraged me to be more adventurous. But I don´t dive too deep into personal stuff in my blog.
Will you still be blogging in 5 years time?
I really hope so! And I hope I have started doing other things as well on top of writing. Like video reviews or a podcast or something similar.
If not already a professional blog: would you say you’re looking to earn a living from blogging eventually, or will it remain a hobby?
Something in between! I want it to stay fun and as a passion without the pressure of making a living.
