What Is The Pleasure Panel?
A Guide To Cara Sutra’s Pleasure Panel Initiative
Whether you’re a business or a blogger, I hope you’ll take a look at my new initiative. It’s called the Pleasure Panel and it’s been created to bring even more adult product reviews to CaraSutra.com.
Before I begin, you can find the main Cara Sutra Pleasure Panel FAQ at the forums here.
The Pleasure Panel is a group of people who offer to provide honest feedback on adult products I will send to them free of charge, in exchange for this feedback. Once the Pleasure Panel member has received their item, they simply use and (hopefully) enjoy, then the 300+ word review and some photos of the product out of the packaging need to be emailed to me.
There are some rewards up for grabs when X number of reviews have been published for a reviewer. You can find the details on the Leaderboard. These include the Approved Reviewer welcome pack, including Pleasure Panel badge, sticker and a variety of other treats – and the VIP Vibrator, Pleasure Panel Mugs, T-Shirt and a gorgeous, luxurious hoody.
You can find the main Pleasure Panel discussion threads here at the forum, which is where the products will be offered and then selected by potential reviewers.
NEW, June 2017: There has been an increased number of new applicants over recent months. I must ask that new applicants send me a review (minimum 300 words, but can be as long as you like, and please include some photos of the product) for an adult product you already own. This must be sent to me before I will post something out to you for review. Amongst other things, this ensures that Pleasure Panel reviews continue to meet the standard expected from such a renowned group of reviewers.
Why was the Pleasure Panel created?
The Pleasure Panel holds appeal for various people, such as:
The members of the Pleasure Panel: members will get sent a product free of charge, simply in exchange for a few paragraphs honest feedback which is published on this site. This includes bloggers who have a review blog themselves (and can gain a backlink from the review at Cara Sutra to their site) or people who don’t have a sex blog of their own but would still like to review sex toys & bedroom products.
My readers: you will gain an insight into feedback on products I might not review myself – and these guest reviews will have a fresh, different perspective from my own.
Businesses & brands: you can offer the Pleasure Panel members a variety of products to review (by emailing me and sending products which I then offer on the forum). These could range from small sexy essentials all the way up to bondage, lingerie and sex toys.
Me: because I simply don’t have time to review absolutely everything that lands on my desk and that’s a real shame. 🙂
How can you get involved?
The Pleasure Panel discussion threads can be found here, keep an eye on these for new products offered as they are assigned on a first come first served basis.
Please note that if you would like to be a member of the Pleasure Panel, I ask just the following three things:
- If you ask for a product, you will use & review it in a reasonable amount of time. I’m not saying immediately but leaving it 6 months is going a bit far.
- Please, make sure that you actually will review the product (I’m really not asking much, just a few paragraphs of honest feedback).
- That you don’t place the text of your review on your own site or elsewhere on the web. It needs to be unique to CaraSutra.com. However a couple of sentences excerpt and a link to the full review here is fine – fab, even! 🙂
Businesses and brands – I would love to hear from you if you can send me any products for the Pleasure Panel to review.
They don’t have to be high end, expensive items, they could be condoms, bullet vibes, lube samples or bottles, other product samples – absolutely anything you have hanging around. Those items could be doing you a favour by getting a review and backlink here at CaraSutra.com instead of cluttering up your workspaces.
There are (at the time of writing) 15 members of the Pleasure Panel (including Hella Rude, first lady of the Pleasure Panel who already has a couple of reviews live) and this number is growing steadily.
Please get in touch if you can help and support the Pleasure Panel initiative.
